AI cores in CPUs… I always expected AI to come in form of a new PCIe card that sits under the GPU.
2:16 This really makes me hopeful for the future of mid to high range GPUs and their pricing. Hopefully, the low end GPUs will become totally obsolete because of Ryzen 8000 and this causes the GPU manufacturers to stop creating low/low-mid end cards and significantly drop the prices of the mid/high end GPUs.
Uhhh no really needed to be a 179.99 when you can get a 12600k for 170$. Sorry it just doesn’t offer real value at all unless you are legit on am4 already. Makes no sense to not try to expand your consumer base.

I'm very curious what the price and performance will be on that ryzen 3 8300g.
In modern day titles, it's hopelessly low spec. However, in older titles, the single strong core and a modest iGPU should allow for strong performance. If the price is right, it may be good for a good living room low spec co-op machine!
8300G is also a 6 core/12 thread cpu, AMD has sent a correction yesterday

i built my 1st pc nearly 3 years ago i think with the 5900x and 3070ti.
Now its about time for an upgrade to ddr5 and maybe even and AMD GPU to go with there awesome CPUs
Its hard to decide though, Nvidia are Still the No1 option if u can find them at proper retail prices..

Well… for AMD, the 8xxx is for processors released in 2024. So they are following their numbering rule correctly here… it's just that the rule doesn't make sense….

Stupid products from AMD . Why dont you have the 4/6 core variants with the strongest GPU? The Steamdeck does it right with its 4 core cpu. You dont need 8 cores for 60fps fhd gaming.

2:35 – This attitude towards the AI chips is basically the same attitude there was for RTX when nvidia released RTX 2000 series – like it was a gimmick that nobody would care about, but as well as ray tracing has matured to a more juvenile state now and clearly growing to become the norm in the future – so will AI chips likely do too.
Also if AMD would make an APU with 3D V-cache that would be sick.
