We need this in the studio world just using the phone to complete calibration for timing and eq. Please ship with the next renderer update!!!!
How it works is, they looked at Sony's implementation in their newest four speaker solution and copied their homework lol. Hopefully this becomes more mainstream actually.

I recon in the future we will have "Virtual speakers."
That is one dedicated physical speaker, or it's integrated within a tv/projector and it uses sophisticated software/AI to "time and bounce" sounds off walls to create surround sounds.

Great idea and implementation. Still think the future is head-tracked spatial headphones. Sometimes the only way through physics is taking the bypass.
Well, sonos will probably not work using this system
