  1. Yet another device to separate yourself from reality and rest of the world.. Add tic toc, instagram, facebook and you are not here..

  2. Pre-ordering in just the next few hours

  3. idkkk mannn I feel like apple should’ve done a foldable phone.

  4. tv is going to be absolete soon

  5. This dudes hair piece looks CRAZY 😩😩😩😩😂😂😂😂

  6. I think eyesight isn't just about presence it also works to explain the concept of the device and XR in general to people who don't intuitively get it -which I think is most people. When objects cast light on you in the virtual environment they cast light on the eyesight face. Things like snow and water caustics say from a tropical beach can do the same. I think it's actually more effective than any commercial played back on a 2D screen.

  7. i want to try this so bad

  8. Thx, but there’s nothing here most us didn’t already know.

    Was expecting something “new”

  9. Nice toupee

  10. Horrendous introduction right off the bat. Do better CNET.
Running “iOS apps” is not in the definition of spatial computing. Spatial Computing is an actual branch of computing, and they deal with a range of topics including ontology trees, GIS ( Global Information Systems), and knowledge networks. The reason Apple calls this “spatial computing ,” is because spatial computing is ambiguous compared to VR and AR. Everyone knows the meaning of VR and AR, but are confused over what Spatial computing actually is.
It is akin to AI, as AI is actually an umbrella term covering vast subdomains with a changing definition over the years. Originally it was Lisp machines and heuristic search that made up AI, and now it’s transformer ML models.

  11. tomorrow'ss headlines in news: "Apple has announced its intention to take legal action against CNET for referring to its product as a VR headset rather than a spatial computing device." xd jk

  12. This guy toupee though 😅😅

  13. Typing has been solved with Bluetooth keyboards. I use a productivity app on the quest that will recognize my Logitech keyboard and track it in the virtual space. Otherwise you can draw a box in the virtual space where your keyboard is and it will do a cut through window even if you're in a virtual space. That way you can see where your keyboard is. The problem with the quest though is that the cameras sort of suck in low light so if you're working in a dark space you can't see your keyboard very well.

  14. It’s too expensive and even if I had the money I wouldn’t get it

  15. At this point if you don’t have hands on with it, stop talking about it. Also, your hair game is messed up. Spend some money get a new toupee.

  16. Remember the first iPhone, and first Apple Watch, the first iPod , the first iPad, etc? We know first iterations are no the best , expensive and will no last long enough , but will be a stepping stone. I will wait for 5 version of the vision pro .

  17. I'm curious of whether the added lens requirements include multifocal needs. This lens idea just seems a bit messy and a little like Apple's passing the buck to Zeiss.

  18. Is he wearing a toupee?

  19. “interactions on that are a little bit of a question mark.” Basically, it does not work.

  20. Quest 3 does have side by side multitasking.

  21. If you wear coke-bottle eyeglasses, does EyeSight simulate the extreme refraction of the space between your glasses and your eyes from the outside?

  22. Way to expensive for the average consumer. I know the tech in it is great but most people can’t drop over 3 grand for a headset. Better off just going with the quest 3
