Awesome Tips OnePlus 12 Review: A Flagship Phone That’s Almost Perfect
It’s powerful, its battery life is awesome and it’s cheaper than its main rivals. But there are some things holding us back from fully recommending the OnePlus 12.

Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
Ohh no, a 5 year update cycle, it’s not as if most people realistically exchange their phone every 2-3 years cuz the battery sucks by that time
CNET maybe post and accept your mistake or remove this video. It's not looking good for you
Please, next time review whether a phone causes eye strain (pwm flickering eye strain issue in OLED displays). Thanks.
I almost didn't get the 11 because reviewers talked bad about the camera i ended up really liking it. Im sure this camera is great. I even took some great photos with the Nord N30 but it had to be in good lighting.
What kind of wet fart review?
I find it strange that you're calling the cameras underwhelming when they are generally being heaped with praise everywhere else. I wonder what you're seeing that others apparently aren't. Glad you mentioned the software updates – I can't even find mention of it on their website. I'm okay with 4/5 years of updates. I've never kept a phone in daily use longer than 4 years anyway. I'm normally 2-3. Although my daughter is still running my OG OnePlus 3 as her daily. That's coming up on 8 years old now, original battery and everything.
Does OnePlus 12 support eSIM in India? As it has collaboration with Jio – I'd expect it to support. Kindly confirm.
Don’t you guys go a proper research before making any of these videos? Dude, you literally have the phone in your hand….why didn’t you open the settings once and verified the specs man…..its 6.82 inches, not 6.2! Also, its 5400 mAh, not 4500 mAh…..also, its IP65, not 64!!!🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
They are not available in Australia.
So many mistakes in this video
That camera peninsula. Yikes. Gimme andS23U any day
I just placed my pre-order earlier today. It's unfortunate that we're not getting the white exterior color here in the USA.
It was between this and the S24 Ultra for me. I really wanted the flat and rectangular screen of the S24 Ultra but for the price, specs, and 16GB of RAM, I felt the OnePlus 12 was the better value.
There is a night mode. Google automatically uses it it, OnePlus doesn't
MISTAKE IN YOUR VIDEO BUDDY – the battery is 5,500 mAh – a big wonderful battery – this dude said only 4,500 mAh
Literally the worst OnePlus 12 review out there. Downvote and move on. Also, if you subscribed to CNET, unsubscribe.
A lot of missinformation in this video
It would be absolutely perfect if the IP rating was better.
Why is there an iPhone shown at 1:25?
6.82", 5400 mAh
Seems to me many of the complaints about the camera will be worked out in software updates. As the reviewer himself said, it is surprising that these camera sensors would have trouble like this with the lighting, and even the OP11 did better in nighttime shots.
These are clear indicators that this is a software issue that will be worked out before too long. And in the interim you can just use GCam or any alternate camera software for night shots. Really not as big a deal as being made here, unless the overwhelming majority of your phone snaps are made at night.
1:25 that's an iPhone LOL
Man, this is what Gamers Nexus talked about with tech sites posting sloppy work.
Why does the U.S. cap charging at 80 watts?😢
So… Like all OnePlus phones… It's mediocre
4500😢
A small detail that has bugged this Lefty is that all the designs are for the righty people. In screen fingerprint helps slightly but volume controls are used more than think.
Considering how woke the world is becoming I'm making a stand for us Ginger Lefties!!!
We are such a minority but this time next week we will have our own presence on the LGBTQTRSYBZ+ flag.
With your help we can change this rightism and make people aware that design is Lefties too.
I will refuse to pay for my goods when the reader is placed on the right.
Lefties forever!!
(An obvious prank but a little truth when it comes to tech). 👍
"As long as you're not that into your photography…" If you are into your photography you take photos with a real camera, not a phone.
Oneplus OS have went down in terms of features. Every update it seems like they are removing things. On top the updates are slow and support sucks.
OnePlus 6 were the peak days for OnePlus. I've used this device for almost three years…
FYI its the same price as the 11 in the US
Best allrounder phone
LOL is this guy serious at 4:10 saying it has a 4500 Mah battery??Its 5400… check specs before posting a review..
This was a sorry review. Do your due diligence when even it is not a Samsung or, Apple.
6.2 in.. 4500mah battery. No one proof watched this 😂
Bro actually said 6.2 inch display it's actually 6.8 inches check the spec sheet before you even sit down to script your video. Thats a given when you post a review… I'd forgive you if you were a average person posting a review but not when your representing a tech site… And really who cares about software updates after a few years??? ive never kept a smartphone longer then 2 years Ever.
I wish oneplus would stop making that god ugly camera circle
