I am massively confused by the "Lower is better" "Performance per watt" chart. The only sensible unit for such a chart I can come up with is FPS per Watt which of course more would be better. Right, the chart even says its FPS per Watt, so surely you'd want more rather than less?
Iโm really interested in getting an Arc GPU for tinkering and as a slice of tech history – I already have an RX 6800 for gaming.
I love the look of the Intel Limited Edition cards, but the cheapest I can currently find an A750 LE in stock in the UK is ยฃ241. The cards from other brands are all about the same price. Even the few secondhand ones on eBay are not much cheaper.
I have found the Asrock Challenger A580 used in this review for ยฃ189. Not sure I want to go with that though as it doesnโt perform so well, and is uglier than me ๐
Hi sir, I do have a problem with intel arc driver when using monitor plugged via Display Port, the monitor does not display any picture, could you try on your rig?
Love my A770 16gb ยก!ยก!
Would love to see the ray tracing performance
Go Intel keep pushing your drivers on ARC GPUs!
Why didn't you show the a770?
Of the 3 games I primarily play: Final Fantasy XIV is the only one listed as having "optimized driver support." However, Star Trek Online and Star Wars The Old Republic aren't listed anywhere I've seen. Star Trek Online is maxed by the game engine; but, there is a huge difference between the Arc 770 and my old Radeon 580. Also, SWTOR is not listed; but, OMG does it look awesome. As I don't play e-sports titles: I can only go by the 3 games I do play and the Intel GPU has me impressed for sure. If Intel continues its current track: it many actually catch AMD some day.
From 1080p to 1440p INTEL is more competitive. From 1440p to 4k it is still capable and drop is less than you expect. Crazy card that seems to be getting better more you demand.
My Arc A770 is on my shelf, I bought it on release just for testing and fun ๐ if there is a big driver update Iโll fire it up again ๐๐ป
A580+ is great if you are still on PCIE 3.0, due to using 16 lanes comparred to these 8 laners: (3050,4060(Ti), 7600(XT), 6600(XT), 6650XT).
I'm very glad I returned the $213 RX6600 and got an $152 A750 instead, about a year ago.
I think the Limited Edition sold a lot than the Asrock model one
I have an Intel A380, planning to upgrade to 7800 XT in future
Time change from FINALLY to ALMOST ๐
was gonna do an arc build but could never get the card in so i did a 4060 instead lol only like 100$ more than the a750 and runs way better
I just finished playing through The Last of Us Part I Remastered on an A770 at 4k 30fps. There were definitely some dips and bad frame times. I would consider the experience to be barely playable. I did have a few reoccurring artifacts with rain drops on the camera lens causing red/green flashes and unusual looking white pixels in super dark areas.
Overall, not that impressive compared to several higher performance cards but really impressive card though when considering the price. You definitely shouldn't use an A770 for 4k if you want an enjoyable gaming experience. It's a pretty decent budget 1080p or 1440p GPU though.
Excellent review. Really enjoyed this one.
Still sticking with Nvidia , the best in the business
I didnt see anything worth buying in this video
Intel needed battlemage out back in January, at least something to go up against a 4070 or a 7800 XT, let's not even compare the super model. But not even a small demo at CES is just sad. They will always be a distant 3rd.
Does anyone know which keyboard he is using now?
I got the A750 for $180 (used deal on Amazon). It's fine for me. I use it for productivity (not video editing) and competitive gaming which usually have no performance issues. In fact, I capped it at 90W. My CPU, tho, is the 14900K which I need more than a fancy GPU, so, priorities…
Just disable nanite in fortnite, and on epic you will have 120+ fps
I wanted to get one of the arc cards but they were really expensive since these a really limited stock of them here so i settled for an AMD card mainly because it fit my budget and i know amd cards
Ill stick with my 4080 super and 4090s lol
Your bum fluff is obnoxious
I think I might build an Intel Ark pc just for the fun of it. Nice video PC Centric.
1440p master race. A huge upgrade over 1080p and worth it ๐
I like the in a nutshell posters in the back
Im still going for an RX 6600
My brothers pc is still having problems with drivers after removing and installations ng them again. It didnt check for updates and when. I go to instal asisst it just says refresh page with red text
Absolutely love my ARC A750. Doesnโt cost a kidney like NVIDIA and the drivers actually cooperate with Windows unlike AMD.
Iโd recommend the 5700xt used over this still
All about perspective – everyone says the super series cards arenโt anything to get excited about. For me, Iโve upgraded from a 970 and this is after playing on console for so many years – and this 4080 super is mind-blowing. Most content creators have their hands on every card so I can understand given the minimal difference.
Intel arch a580 cost 211 dollars, rtx 3050 cost 238 dollars, rtx 3060 cost 350 dollars, rx 6600 cost 264 dollars and rx 6700 non xt cost 360 dollars. All of these cards prices new in my country(South Africa) and the intel arch A580 being the cheapest out of all of them.
