For my needs, its perfect.
It's not as powerful as other competitor's but in this price range the screen Is very good
People rave about $1000 tablets while this at about $700 is by far preferable. Hook it up to an external SSD of choice for storage and back-up.

Does anyone make a review with somethig more than "youtube" and "watching netlfix" test? Cant you show some work on it? Excel, some Thunderbird? How it fits that low res screen?

this is my "go 2" laptop hehe
I'm using Surface Laptop Go 2 8GB ram and 128GB storage. I am very enjoying it in early 2023. The main problem with it is battery life is only 4 hours most. I have read that battery lasts 15 hours. May be it was a mistake or a lie on Bill Gates side. Other than that small storage so far hasn't been an issue i didn't even transfer anything to external 1tb ssd drive. The display is definitelly smaller than 17 inch but then you would know you need 17 inch laptop which there are plenty even at the same price. Small slim and lovely laptop.
I just want to add something really important. Even though the resolution isn’t full Hd the picture quality is better. This is because of the PPI (pixels per inch) and that is higher than most full HD laptops. So just keep in mind even if it’s not officially Full HD the graphics are better then the normal Full Hd screens.
I want this for my work . I am creating Comic Books , but , I have iPad and iPad mini , I need touch panel device , but , iPad or mini can’t upload my pictures on the Kindle Comic Book Creator to my laptop . My laptop is windows one , not MacBook , OS is different .
My work is started up recently , not make money at all .
Then , I want Go2 so much . Windows OS touch panel device is good for me .
MacBook is pretty expensive to me , yet . I want MacBook Pro , Liquid Retina one is fabulous .
I paint and drawing with colors , Liquid Retina is marvelous for paintings .
But , this Go2 is good for usual drawing .

I just traded in my original laptop go for the go 2…8gb 128k The new one is a real improvement. It's faster, cooler, louder, better wifi, sage green. Yes Apple is a better product…full stop. I like the design of the Go 2…how it feels to hold and type on. I like the touch screen. I had no intention of buying the original a year ago until I saw it at best buy. I was going to buy another Chromebook. After handling the device, it just felt right. The build quality is very good. The size is perfect for me. It is a great portable laptop…just not very powerful.
Remains too pricey for what it is once you skip the bum bottom tier. Really that should go away and the middle tier should take that price slot, then it would be appealing.
What’s a strong comparable with better specs in the 12.5” / 3:2 aspect ratio range

I want a laptop doesn't burn my legs, I want high mobility doesn't need to charge battery often.
Sorry, MacBook air can do it all. I seriously consider to switch to Apple silicon MacBook air next purchase.
