A520 is very decent.
Build a pc with console preference with the same as the APU. I would like to see a video from you on it
It would be interesting to see how much of an impact higher performance RAM makes with those APUs. Like a comparison with 4800, 6000 and 6400 RAM.
At the moment, I'm trying to find a good build so I can play STALKER Anomaly/Gamma/EFP. I can't even play it on this computer we bought in 2014/2015, but it works for SoC/CS/CoP and runs it well until it crashes at some point because the GPU doesn't have enough VRAM or the engine the game it is playing on crashes.
I do live in New Zealand and I am finding it hard to acquire good parts that are reasonably priced, but that is not really going to be realistic at this point, considering prices are going up and some GPUs are hard to acquire. I'll get there. If anyone can help with some suggestions of parts and how much I could be looking at something between five hundred to eight hundred. Thank you!

Definitely a good option for someone who's going to upgrade in the near future but otherwise a ryzen 5 4500 and rx 6600 build would cost the same and massively outperform this for gaming.
Not a fan of the psu choice, that thing is F tier, there are C tier power supplies for the same price.
Can it run overwatch and ark 1080p at 100+ fps?
I have this case and hate it so much that I enlarged the front intake holes out of frustration with a drill. Don't judge me, it was cheap and I didn't have much cash in my pocket 🙁

This is unfortunatelly payed sponsored review by some store!! everyone with brain knows that this apus are garbage and you cant have good gaming PC with rx 560 performance of igpu !! you will have only stuter mess and shitty low seettings
with 8600G you cannot have good gaming PC without discrete gpu !! its like saying that you have good gaming PC with rx 560 in 2024
It's suggested to at least run 6000 mts cl 36 on those Apus and 6400 cl 32 or better is preferred.
Ryzen 5500 + A520 + 16gb ddr4 + RX 6600 + 600W PSU + 500gb ssd + case = 509 US dollars on Ama.
I think RAM speed and latency do actually matter, espesially with these APUs.
This is like worst case scenario.
I actually done this R5 build last month for my daughter… She loved it, I was Meh so I put in a gtx1650 just for a little extra… But it's a great windows 11 desktop for the family and plays games… Whats not to like
Nice cheap build. As far as I can recall all Gigabyte motherboards come with BIOS flashback capability. For the case fan you could always unscrew it from the case and turn it around to where it’s slightly easier to manage the cable (some exhaust fans come in cases NOT as exhaust fans, so pay attention). And I’ve had a lot of success using the PSU cultist list (Google it) to find a good PSU. Cool vid! 🤙

With the last 2 gens of AMD, use Directx 12. Works very well.
