Comments

  1. Nokia concepted this YEARS ago, but no one trusts Motorola. They have abysmal software support. I think I'll wait for a version from one of the better manufacturers.

  2. Let's see the faults after release

  3. Ah, the MotoROLLa

  4. That is a very silly piece of technology

  5. Erm whatโ€™s the point? Literally just get a smartwatch ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  6. This looks dumb

  7. It looks ridiculous on the wrist

  8. Why not used a real bracelet??

  9. My thoughts….. Still thinking!!!!

  10. It needs a bracelet, I love it. I would love to have one

  11. completely useless…?

  12. Geeky cool๐Ÿ’ฏ

  13. Very cool tech. But honestly I donโ€™t think this will actually go to consumer market.

  14. 1:16 the screen pulls out ๐Ÿ˜‚

  15. It may be better to have a big screen smart watch with a flex screen than to have a flex screen in a smart phone!!!

  16. No one will buy this.

  17. Canโ€™t see this one taking off, so chunky! But thought I would post comment and check back in 5 years lolโ€ฆ.๐Ÿ˜‚

  18. I'd call this a bendable phone..
Rollable phones are a completely different category of phones that extend the screen by having it roll outward. EDIT: you even show that rollable from Motorola in this video ๐Ÿ˜…

  19. How do they fit in the battery? As the battery can't be bend it is in a solid form.

  20. Despite all the sci-fi vibe, I don't think people would ever want to 'wear' screens. Personal displays/screens, by their very nature, are terminals of information for "yourself", not for the whole world. This is what manufacturers get wrong all the time. It's a private thing.

No one wants these. Give us smartphones with smaller screens i.e. 5.8", not 7.5". ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

  21. "The future I wanted is finally here" ๐Ÿ˜Ž >> "Concept phone. It's not being made". ๐Ÿ˜ญ WTH CNET!

  22. Apple is garbage

  23. I would rather wear the Samsung Galaxy Wear Watch that came out a few years ago.

  24. iphone bend gate all over again.

  25. A bit unappealing but nonetheless what an incredible step up for innovated tech

  26. Motorola Parent company Lenevo showed this years ago. Why are they showing this again?

  27. My razr display that is less than 6 months old already has dad pixels. I can't even imagine having something like this on my wrist. Completely impractical

  28. No way to put that thing on my wrist ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  29. This is the most stupid/ridiculous idea I have ever seen…. I hope to be wrong so bad

  30. My wrist is sweating looking at this

  31. I wonder, cool tech or an expensive device you replace often.

  32. MOTOROLA WITH THE COME BACK๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  33. IT'S STUPID

  34. Eazy pass

  35. I hate it here..

  36. Motorola about to go bankrupt again

  37. Okay for gen 1 device but wont be adopted until it clasps fully aroind and is thinner. Like a futuristic slap bracelet.

  38. Why donโ€™t you all make a phone with with the functionality of the VR headset so that it can track your hand movements and then project a screen onto any surface using the fact that it can bend around and act as a stand also. You put your phone down and it becomes a larger screen by using the projector. You can scroll through the bigger version of your apps with hand gestures as your blooking at the projected image. You could also take this idea cut it in half and put a nose piece on it with some optics to make a VR headset. If you could figure out how to make other layers above the screen that acted as automatic optical correction for your eyes even better.

  39. If apple came up with this concept, there would be sheep ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ lining up 10 blocks around the apple store ๐Ÿ˜‚

  40. Me: Ok, I'm putting my phone on the desk and going to the restroom.

    Foldable Phone: Say that again.๐Ÿคœ

  41. Moto does make some really cool things we can't deny that

  42. MORE

  43. I would totally wear this!

  44. they should call it the Motorolable

  45. I'm waiting for the version shown in the series Upload
