Linus voice has some weird tinny echo in it towards the end… sounds like he's in an echo chamber or something. The other guy ( sorry, haven't learned your name yet and too lazy to look it up ) sounds fine though. It's very weird. Did something happen to Linus' mic?

These vertical fans were on the Cooler Master Stacker case back in 2004. I have one. It blew air across the entire motherboard. It was cool.

That case is frankly one of the most thoughtful PC case ever built. Not as easy as a mid tower or full tower, but for an itx case it looks rather easy to put stuff in correctly & easily. It, and the build quality rather justify the price.

One day you should take a look at the Air Moving Device (yes really) in the full-rack double-depth IBM pSeries servers (once upon a time we had a p690) – it's not a fan, it is a shovel-wheel like out of a Mississippi steam-boat.

now put a crossflow fan on the side or end of a GPU instead of the stock fan(s) to test vs stock fan(s)
The audio around 13 minutes sounds like it's picking up Linus' voice on both mics just the tiniest bit out of sync.
so If you put it next to a bucket of water ( where the air blows across teh surface of teh water.. you now have a whole room humidifier and air cooler ( if the water is cold)
Those big old HP laser printers from the '90s used this kind of fan. I think photocopiers still use them. They can force a lot of air thru lengthy, convoluted paths.

I had been playing with this kind of idea in my head for like 2 years now. Although beyond just making a sheet of air to cool compontents, I want one that is very long to mount along a headboard and make a nice gentle and quiet flow of air down onto a bed.
I've been saying squirrel cage style fans are way better for the last 10 yeaes Alas. I have not the time nor the RnD budget

I know there was a tower case a long time ago that had a fan like this meant to blow over the motherboard… I thought it was the coolermaster cosmos, but I think I'm wrong as I can't find a picture of it with that… Something from that era though and a big tower like that.
I don't think $360 is bad at all for a SFF PC

as someone who doesn't like small pcs i actually like this one and would build a system in this. I like the design and being able to have it sit on my desk and not blow hot air straight but blow it up into my room is a nice feature for me

This is more like a MonsterLabo or Streacom or Turemetal case than a Corsair or Lian Li, making the price… surprisingly reasonable when compared to those sorts of competitors.
