Amazing Products TV I BUILT the Worlds Biggest Gaming TV

Comments

  1. @2:22:00 – just a theory, based on "journalist behaviour" in the past years especially in the gaming space: I wouldn't be surprised if the last scandal you faced, I'm sure you remember the one which made you guys take a break, got you "blacklisted" with a looooooot of writers. In a sense that the only coverage you will get from them, if any, is if they can crap on you (or feel that they can).

  2. The disrespect to my dear Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿😩🤣

  3. Good job Linus you took the money that the government would use to hurt its people away from them

  4. In the Netherlands you can let your insurance monitor your driving for discounts. Probably means the rest pays more I guess

  5. Luke failed again, Linus pulled a other Linus and cost the company money. With "tax write offs" just to prove a point?

  6. Can people just stfu about their products and trying to poke holes into every single little thing that LTT does. I don't even care if you end up being right at this point, because since you do that Linus spends half the podcast defending their decisions, explaining things, and making a big deal about it. As a listener it is getting EXHAUSTING, and it's your fault that that is happening, not LTTs.

  7. This episode is definitely a write off

  8. That's nuts, who is voluntarily staying somewhere with cameras *inside*??? You'd stay somewhere with a camera pointed at you in the kitchen….?

  9. The auto insurance companies in the states check your credit score and charge you more if it isn’t great.

  10. Bargain PC case. How about picking up a full tower Lian Li for $15 dollars at a tip (trash) shop. Perfect condition just had to replace two o-rings for the reset and start button. I nearly didn't see it.

  11. The blood drew thing happens to me too since over the age of 20. Never had issues as a kid so was very strange. Lying down during the prosses helps though.

  12. 100Mb down is the min for broadband? Lol
Welp, that's a pretty top tier [home] internet connection here in Australia.

  13. Steve Leto has a good episode about the car data collection.

  14. I would like to point out a few things as a tax auditor and accountant. Yes, if you sell something for a loss then you will effectively offset income for that amount. And you don't have enough income in that year you can carry that net operating loss forward to future years where you had income. But if the item you are selling for a loss is something that is costing you money in storage and taking up opportunity cost for other products that can generate more revenue then it can be better to "write it off" and cut you losses than to sit on it until you can make money on the transaction. Considering costs you already have in an item that clearly isn't worth what you have in it is a sunk cost fallacy.

This is a scenario similar to making championship shirts. Companies make and sell what they can. Any extras are almost are almost worthless after a relatively short period of time as people moved on to the next season. So they give them away to some 501c3 and "write it off".

  15. 50$ for a frickin hoodie. You guys really have lost all touch with reality

  16. Insurance denying drivers. Health insurance denying based on my 23 and me profile. This is yet another reason why private insurance of any kind is absolute hose crap.

  17. There is uninsured and underinsured auto insurance. This insurance is so your insurance provider will pay if you are in an accident with someone with little or no insurance. Then it's the insurance providers problem to go after the other person while you are covered regardless. So you don't have to worry about what happens if you're in an accident with someone who isn't insured.

  18. so if 100/25 is now minimum for broadband, what is 6/1.5 considered 😅

  19. As a former phlebotomist, I can tell you that the butterfly needle trick is a lie we tell people. Common phlebotomy needles come in 3 guages, 21, 23, and 25. A 21 gauge butterfly is the same as a 21 gauge straight needle but with wings that help to self stabilize the needle. A butterfly needle is also shorter and doesn't have a tube holder/hub attached right to it, so it's easier to go in at a shallower angle (doesn't hurt as much). My hospital carried 21, 23, and 25 gauge butterflies but only 21 and 23 gauge straight needles, so if I wanted the smallest gauge available, it was always a butterfly. The downside is that the smaller gauge increases the risk of hemolysis (red cells exploding in transit), so the chance of redrawing is always higher with a smaller needle.

I am also a fainter. My problem with straight needles is that I can always feel them move a little when the phleb changes tubes which freaks my nervous system out. I also want to cut down my chances of redraw though, so I ask for a 21 gauge butterfly.

  20. 2:31:45 🤨 what's so weird about a dude named Mohammed buying your shit?

  21. This is what happens when you make one too many "is it a write off?" jokes to Linus' face Luke xD

  22. Linus keeps missing the poing of the tax write off stuff. Wich is you buy something for your house, put it in a video to write it off. So yes you spent the money on it but now you also deduct that from your taxes so you arent paying taxes in it. So you got item AND deducted the full amount from your taxes.

  23. The tax write off worked. I came for the $10 shirt, and spent $300.

Anyone think this was his plan?

  24. It should be illegal for car manufacturers to give driving data to insurance companies or for insurance companies to use such data to discriminate on how much they charge for insurance.

  25. @linus is your fainting called vasovagal syncope? I have had this all my life and have probably fainted 100 times.

  26. It'd be real cool if Linus could stop eating chips while hosting a show.

  27. No wonder I felt you looked weird or different but I couldn't figure what. I knew it wasn't the beard or hair like you looked younger but in a weird way haha
