Like I been saying after 3 months playing ps5 when it was released. That this ps5 is a ps4 pro instead a ps5. And this ps5 pro is the real ps5.

I was late to the PS4 party so got the PS4 Pro when that came out. It ran everything just the same and didn't feel any better than just gaming on a PS4. I'm late again to the PS5 party, partly because you just couldn't even get your hands on one for so long. I just focused on PC gaming instead so I think I'll wait to see what the PS6 looks like before even thinking about getting another Playstation.
Haven’t even had my PS5 for a year , because couldn’t get one till the late half of 2023 , I heard the pro wasn’t out till 25/26 , guess there trying to make up for lack of sales by bringing it forward.
Nobody has 8K TVs

I wish they would cancel it and just make good games. Why spend company $$$ on new hardware? Don't nobody have a 8ktv and I'm pretty sure I just played Spiderman 2 in performance mode which was 1440p at 60 with some ray tracing. Like what games are justifying this? Also I'm thinking $699 because those parts ain't cheap.

And for people dumb enough to ''upgrade'' their console. You'll be fine with your regular PS5, don't worry and stop crying. I had a PS4 slim and never upgraded to a PS4 pro and I was fine. I still have it and I survived. Don't worry, don't cry. You'll be okay.

man the last time I played playstation was ps1 then I outgrew it lol.
This is just to bridge the gap of specs when the ps6 comes out . I might upgrade only if GTA 6 runs at that rate of power and it’s a noticeable difference.
Watch the "pro" model come with the same 1tb ssd where 30% of it has been used up for system files. There's also no guarantee that games will run at 4k 60fps since that is up to the game devs. The system may be capable of it but if the game studio decides to lock the game at 4k 30fps for stability, then you're out of luck. We're still in an age where the day 1 patch for a game is almost the same size as the game, so I'm thinking 4k 60fps or 8k 30fps isn't worth the upgrade yet.
Xbox 4K gaming at 60 fps is a standard, for the most part. I thought this would have been a standard for PS5.

Sold my ps5 this year, waiting until ps6 before bothering with playstation again. Even silent hill 2 wasn't enough to keep me from selling, one of my most favorite games ever made in history of gaming

Only just got a PS5 Slim so i wont be upgrading.
Due to the delay on people actually upgrading from PS4 to PS5 due to the chip shortage its probably a little too early to be replacing the PS5 with a sucessor yet even if under normal circumstances the time frame would say its warranted.

same games still run both on PS5 & PS4. After owning a PS5 for couple of years it didn't blow me like when moving from PS3 to PS4.
I'm quite sure the original PS5 box had 8K on the side of it! Most 8K TV's upscale 4K content to 8K within the set. Not really any point in rendering natively on the PS5 Pro just for 8K, to then have that shown at 30fps.
