  1. asdf It is all bad quality; they all copied things that I promoted first. I am thousands of years ahead..

  2. For example, one of those areas is speed. Boston robotics and the like have faster robots for now.

  3. Tesla patents all its inventions, but it allows anybody to use those patents. The only thing is: they can't do anything to make them proprietary. In that sense, Tesla has a leg up on the competition though they're being behind in certain areas.

  4. I believe A.I. can rescue the human race. However I see no need for humanoid robots. You are preferable to any mimicked human.

  5. Why do we need humanoids when chatgpt is the cheaper cost of a humanoid

  6. Those robots are gonna replace McDonald's employees that are teens who need a part time job

  7. This going to make life easier

  8. LORD QUAS

  9. Bro, what are you talking about? The robots that showed up were just images on a massive screen behind the guy!! They weren't 'brough on stage' by any means!!

  10. My vote is on the Teslabot

  11. Don't put Tesla's grade school toys in the same category as Nvidia.

  12. Competition is always good for us consumers🤝🏻

  13. why are they building more robots .?

  14. Liquid neuron tech seems best suited for robotics and much more efficient but I don't see any mention.

  15. how about designing hands and more dexterous limbs for atlas and having boston dynamic collaborate with google or open ai.

  16. Tesla is using the same AI computer as the cars, the same cameras and batteries as the car, besides the actuators and body. They already mass produce most of the robot parts. That’s the biggest strength the Tesla bot has, it is design to be mass produced and most of its parts already are mass produced for the cars. They can get to lower price sooner, instead of 30k Tesla could be at 15k in price. The competition put together won’t be at Tesla scale of production for years.

  17. The world just going to become more fatter now 🙃

  18. Nvidia is way ahead of Tesla.

  19. awaiting open source ai engines and data (through a foundation managed, and thus backed by big companies to invest in it, like e.g. Linux)

  20. In reality, most of them will fail. Most of them will not get the same amount of resources and it will also be hard to convince customers if these robots are not affordable enough.

  21. Competition is good

  22. So fully integrated hardware and software, or software distributed to random hardware vendors. Hmmmmm

  23. Nvidea going pc / windows route and tesla going apple route. There is no winner between them.

  24. Only when it demands my clothes my boots and my motorcycle will I pay attention😎

  25. Boston Dynamics Atlas robot would leave a lot of the others standing, it's attempt at parkour manoeuvres and somersaults are examples of it's agility, truly exceptional 🤖

  26. Skynet and I-ROBOT

  27. the biggest challenge will be not so much computing power or increasingly even AI but the aesthetics of the robot. people forget that Japan has worked on robots for decades and has done extensive research on how people would relate and interact with robots, this shows up in their designs like Asimo and Pepper. America in contrast cant get past cold looking androids and terminator like ugliness. we need more school teachers, anthropologists, sociologists, and artists working on robot design.

  28. Cannot comprehend why everyone is excited about Tesla bot. 3 years and it can barely walk on a flat surface. Atlas and Figure are lightyears ahead

  29. It's a tesla ecosystem

  30. It's scared me.

  31. Get a trade job, they said. It's safe from AI, they said.

  32. A time will soon come when it will be very difficult to distinguish a humanoid from a human , based on appearance and very easy , based on performance.Welcome to the brave new world of AI.

  33. Wonder if Musk will incorporate neural link data in training Optimus somehow. Definitely scary NVIDIA having such a monopoly on all humanoids. Thank goodness we have Tesla to offer some competition.

  34. Tesla's bot looks more like apple and nvidia looks like early day Andriod, the movements are jerky and not tight

  35. Wait, Isn't Tesla working with Nvidia? I heard that the Tesla Cars chip was made by Nvidia, why don't they work together for their Optimus?

  36. Nvidia and Tesla are barely competitors. Nvidia will be the defacto provider of many of the world's humanoid robots. Tesla will be the global leader in humanoid robot manufacturing.

  37. Tesla is lying about Optimus lol Elon does this every time
