Comments

  1. If only there was a phone like in the movie “Her”

  2. Portability is a major factor

  3. i hate them, until there is some sci-fi glass out of star trek that can bend reliably and not have to be laminated outwards i won't like the fact that i am basically touching plastic that can scuff and warp more easily when using the larger screen inside, also why do all foldables have laughably small batteries, some of the foldable makers put smaller batteries in their flagship foldable phone compared to their flagship slab non-folding phone

  4. Oh my God, AI is better …..
    I'm joking 😂 nice work.

  5. was an early adopter of it from the Samsung fold to the 3rd gen. great experience with reading on a bigger screen and mobile games but ultimately a novelty. switched back to a slab to mount on my motorcycle when riding. not worth $2k ever couple of years. trust, they're not built to last. moving parts and wear. its an eventuality

  6. Flip 2 user and fan. I'm old enough to remember when it was the in thing to have the smallest phone like the lady bug (Siemens C56). The thing I love the most is not having a big balky phone in my pocket that sticks out or makes it uncomfortable to sit which means it gets left out / possibly left behind (87% to 98% of the time my phone is in my pocket). Flips have as big or possibly bigger screen than some phones which is nice when you need a big screen. My text messages, selfies / usies and alerts / notifications are read without opening the phone.

The only bad thing is that I'm coming to the end of my 4 years of updates and now my phone is starting to do wonky things. Once it gets really bad than a factory reset will be that last straw before getting an updated version.

  7. Foldable phones are trash. Quality needs to go way up. Screens fail as little as six months to a year.

  8. I love them I have 2 mine 4 years old Z Fold 3 on the shelf my daily phone Pixel Fold since launch.

  9. That AI voice is like Russell Crowe on testosterone overdose. 😂Good to see you back Patrick!

  10. Born for the camera

  11. Why use chat gPT 3.5? It’s not updated

  12. Why would you use gpt 3.5, Why not 4??? 3.5 is outdated

  13. Interesting, but why does everyone always use ChatGPT 3.5 in comparison with an AI when ChatGPT 4 delivers significantly better results. I don't understand it.

  14. head to head against AI and…… humans already lost. "….did i say unique twice?" ….. doh

  15. I want a foldable with the power, IPX rating and wireless charging of Samsung in the Honor Magic V2 form factor!!
When that happens, I will make the dive into foldables!

  16. I used one for a couple of months, but I got tired of having to use two hands to open it every time I got a call or to check messages, and since in my line of work I do it very often, the foldable phone became a burden more than anything.

  17. I don't like this segment. Leave journalism to journalists- not AI

  18. how do you expect GPT 3.5 to give you relevant information when it's 2 years old. you can literally use GPT 4 or gemini, with real time info. this video is practically useless. of course the outdated model is going to provide outdated information

  19. Knowledgeable AND sexy.

  20. CNET can't afford to pay for GPT4 to produce a youtube video? 🤣

  21. Not seeing the point of them tbh I owned three including the OnePlus Open I currently own now. I switch back and forth between that and my iPhone, I’m never like “damn I really wish I had a slightly bigger screen that’s awkward to hold but smaller than the smallest tablet.” When I’m on my iPhone. This will probably be my last foldable.

  22. Great job! Your videos are great

  23. I can’t wait for apples to do fold phone and flip phone

  24. This is a great new series. More of this!

  25. Only morons have fallen for this nonsense and only morons will.

  26. How does everyone know so much about ChatGPT?🤔

  27. Folding is unnecessary

  28. After almost having a heartattack with my Z Flip 4 requiring a full screen assembly replacement due to the hinge sensor failing, just barely 1 month before warranty ended, I can whole-heartedly say, I will never buy foldables again. The repair cost would've just totaled the phone completely if it was out of warranty.

  29. you have to considerate that ChatGPT 3.5 has a database from January 2022, more than 2 years late

  30. my fold 3's inner screen crapped out on me for no reason (never dropped it)…but my flip 5 has been good so far. But i use the outer screen more than the inner screen.

  31. If you’re talking about 2024 phones, which you are, just pay to use Chat GPT 4. It’s silly to compare your knowledge to a computer that hasn’t been updated in about 2 years. SMH

  32. I also have a Chinese phone with really good Samsung camera I use separately and sorry CCP I do not have private information on it but its a really good phone I like it a lot even with my spy permission I gave you . google is spying on you too 🙂

  33. 😁I still use Samsung s7 its a great phone and it android is working better than those new phones. thanks to goole imperium that made phones less user-friendly.

  34. HAL 9000 is jealous. Be…careful 🤖

  35. Lemme guess, Samsung AI says yes 😅🤑

  36. no one really needs a foldable phone

  37. I need to buy a new phone

  38. Galaxy flip and fold all the way

  39. They are still a gimmick. You know, I know it, everyone knows it.
