We’ve all seen ads for gaming PCs or hardware that just seem too wild to be real. “No Low ballers! I know what I got!” when all they’ve got is a pile of e-waste. We collected a bunch of ridiculous listings and watched our heroes slowly lose their minds…

  1. For those of you saying we have the wrong winner on some of these, Linus declares 'Price is Right' rules early on, which means we're looking for the closest price without going over.

  2. Im pretty sure that the first one is not in fact a 4070 ti because it looks like a 10 ro 20 series rog strix and it has dual 8 pin connectors and the 4070 ti has the new 12 pin high power 🤔

  3. The EU pricing should not be compared to US, as the VAT is not included + import, guys

  4. 13:30 – guys from @LinusTechTips – you Fckd up a little bit ;D

In Europe we have prices tax included in them! And you looked for parts in canada/US without tax when writing "REAL WORTH". If you compare 3500 EUR system, you need to account VAT for your "real worth" findings. Depending on country it can be between 15 to 25%, so let's assume it's in the middle – 20% VAT (in Poland we have 23% for electronics), which gives us $2186 your calculated worth * 20% VAT = 2622. Still about 1k less than listing, but it's also not $2200 you wrote but $500 more in Europe.

  5. You guys would need to check out avsforum and what is there advertised like NAS server with 96 TB for more than 20k USD or "video processor" for even more that's less capable than 1k USD laptop with RTX 😉

  6. Linus translation, pretty good! I am impressed.

  7. I sometimes browse the hardware section of a german craigslist version. It's hilarious.
Some people are really delusional when it comes to their pricing, and sometimes reasoning.
I often see people justifying their prices cause they paid sooo much back then ( especially regarding 30 series GPUs ) and think they can get the same money back now.
Was tempted many times to just write one of those sellers, but so far could resist doing so haha.

  8. Luke's laugh is literally so contagious.

  9. Elijah- "I was speaking canadian"

  10. 11:30 I love how they installed an LGA1700 CPU on an AM4 motherboard

  11. PC parts are significantly more expensive outside North America, especially in developing countries due to lower wage and massive import taxes on "luxury goods" (the tax rate most governments put expensive non-industrial electronics under).

  12. some ine type 77777 22222 in there keypad , something funny will happen

  13. your price including a legit oem windows 11 for $150 cp AUD?

  14. if they don't post what they're really asking i wont even bother to click on it……where what there selling is gold and what you have is garbage….

  15. Parts are hella more expensive in Europe.

  16. I'm french, and, congratulations on the french translation part.

  17. In Russia we have a saying for such cases: without a sucker and life is not pretty

  18. Yes, pc components are way more expensive in all of Europe, including Spain.

  19. Are PC parts more expensive in Spain? As a spanish I can confidently say YES. They are usually 20% and up compared to USA prices.

  20. Very fun video 🙂 Elijah's vibe fits well with Linus and Luke and Jordan was a great "quizmaster". Premise was fun, execution was fun. Had a great time!

  21. i found this build in spain, what do u think about the value ?

  23. The editing on this video was fantastic – super funny. Great job team!

  24. the dad, the sun, the cool uncle

  25. Okay but can Linus also do a rant about eBay listings where they throw a bunch of options for the actual decent pictured item then one dirt cheap thing that’s generally not even in stock to artificially lower the price and put it higher when you sort low to high?

  26. linus won by style point for the translation

  27. Alot of used motherboards still going for alot aliexpress has some mobos a few bucks cheaper then ebay or take a risk on market place, craigslist and, offerup or other reselling app/websites

  28. I hate the free/$1 market place sellers and people low balling me trying to profit off my deals I've sold several PCs cheap and later found some posted with lies (a core 2 quad claiming its an i5)

  29. Spanish prices on computer parts are kind of rough, but they always include VAT
