LGs new series of TVs are coming out this month so just get yourself a C3 on discount and save yourself a 1000 bucks at least.
Not sure why he didn't mention panel difference and better contrast blacks lvl's on LG monitor…. those greyish blacks can be seen from far.
Thanks, love your videos. I have as monitor an LG C1 oled 65 tv and I plan to buy the top nvdia gpu like 5090 or whatever it will be. Unfortunately I don’t understand if this tv will allow me to get all the good fps the card will generate without teetering or image lags. Can you explain how do FPS and hertz interact and how they work best together? Thanks
v
So I know you have reviewed the PG27UQ and the PG32UQX. You said the G3 tv was the best HDR you’ve ever experienced. Is that true? I ask because I’m thinking about going for the G4 for my desk (55”).
Blacks look terrible on the Asus.
QDOLED looks like shit in an average lit room in general, VA black levels.
Would love to see a review of the Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED
I’m wondering if the ASUS 1440p 480 hz monitor releasing later this year would be the best of both worlds. Especially if you run a duel monitor setup since it’s only 27 inch.
Digging the Jumper 🙂
still no stock…
You were testing the 480hz mode on Apex with about 280fps in the training range. You didn't test it at 480hz – didnt even do UFO tests lol
@PcCentric After viewing a few side by side reviews on these two panels now, I've noticed that the QD panel appears to have very prominent reds, it looks like even the reflections turn red for some reason. When content shows on screen it's got a red bias, I initially thought it was due to the sub pixel layout having a lager red pixel but I'm starting to think it's the coating that also causes the raised blacks.
I can't understand why it's not mentioned at all in reviews and how these screens are more colour accurate than the woled with such a significant red bias.
Have you noticed this in person?
I like this out of the box review style. Also like how you stumbled upon a major issue with these qd oled monitors which reviewers seemed to have missed but redditors are clamoring about, and that is how the true black 400 mode seems brighter than the console hdr mode which is supposed to peak at 1000 nits (and does). This is a MAJOR issue imho and apparently affects all qd oled monitors. You can stick with hdr 400 and get a general brighter image (in modest apl scenes) but one that peaks at an anemic 400 nits or you can stick to console hdr and get 1000 nit highlights in very low apl scenes but a dim overall picture with higher apl scenes. You shouldn’t have to pick your poison like that and you don’t have to with qd oled TV’s (or mini led monitors which I think may be the better buy for hdr gaming at this size at the moment).
You said you're playing Cyberpunk but your showing Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk is role-playing game from 1988
Yo Bro it's all was the High End…..y don't you step down a little … to do with budget thing
Glossy just makes everything look 10 times better. There’s a reason Apple has been doing this for decades. They understand design more than any other company out there. Glad the PC world is starting to catch up.
For the LG, is it possible to use 4K while simultaneously using 24" aspect ratio mode? How about on Xbox Series X?
Looks like the LG is a matte finish which is a loser for me. I'll stick with the Asus with its gloss finish and before anyone gives me a hard time about the 480 HZ, I am not being paid by Esports gaming so I dont think I'll notice the difference! I cant stand matte finishes on monitors! Great video!
I have a question which legion should I get Lenovo slim 5 16’ ryzen 7 7840hs with 4060 or the pro 5i 16’ i7 with 4070 this is strictly for gaming btw and want the best experience plz help me the game specifically i will be playing is COD and mostly fortnite at low settings
Recently got a 43" LG C3 OLED to use primarily as a gaming monitor but also for movie/TV consumption. I would've loved one of these for the gaming benefits and the slightly smaller size, but I couldn't get around the lack of home theater features like no Dolby Vision, etc. I'm just as much a home AV enthusiast as I am PC enthusiast so the C3 was a nice meet in the middle for me. And it was only $800, compared to $1200.
Will 32 inch too big for playing Apex when compared to 27/24 inch? Thanks
Nah, not going to buy Asus just for the branding itself. Would get myself a Dell monitor if I'm getting Asus. If Im playing fps then I'll go for LG
W8 what 200watt for monitor 😢
The LG and Samsung look so nice. The Asus looks like a Fisher Price toy.
more white variant pls for us white setups
Great video and comparison!
How does the MSI equivalent stack up to these two?
Awesome!
let me guess before watching this video , you over hype these products even though we all know the LG one is trash cause of that horrible Matte finish 🙄😒😒😒
look how grey the blacks looks on the Qd . Bruh .
Another great video!!!!
asus for me
One thing that absolutely needs to be done on Microsoft end for Oleds is supporting the sub-pixel layout for texts on both the QD and W Oled so there’s less text fringing, also I think for a new monitor the LG 27GR95QE is quite good as well
I have the ASUS and love it but they need to fix bugs, especially after the new firmware introducing very annoying bug with burnin settings
LG all day everyday, ASUS IS TRASH .
fantastic review as always i got a 3080 gpu and i play mw3 do you think it would be playable on 4k i was wondering the fps i would get any intfo would be amazing
ASUS beats out this LG for sure
Asus can do 480hz? No? Sorry getting my LG on Friday to use my LG 27 as second monitor 😎😁 cry me rivers
