If you mount your closed loop radiator with the tubes up, then what happens when the cooling liquid level falls below the opening of the tubes?
I say radiator with tubes down and the top of the radiator well above the pump.
Get anthony out of here
CPU? Use amd for price/quality ánd if you don't want to spend on a cooler, amd stock coolers are beter over Intel ( if you overclock spend on seperate coolers for CPU, AIO is recommended, of air cooling look up reviews that mention performance specifically for overclocking).
PSU: (I'm biased, seasonic saved my$2k build) if your house has unstable or old electronics spend more for a seasonic prime for example, other brands I've had good experiences with ( all 80plus gold at the least): bequiet, cooler master and seasonic
GPU: I always go last gen NVIDIA and my experience with amd is so far in the past I couldn't tell you how they are nowadays.
SSD storage: Samsung series tend to be decent, however for price quality I recommend crucial. Crucial SSDs have a tendency to suprise me in durability, speed and price/quality.
Peripherals: keyboard: want mechanical for a good price, I recommend sharkoon pro writer or skillet mech.
Mous: SteelSeries rival3 is a great entry level mouse with amazing price quality, want to spend more look for a good Logitech mouse.
Monitor: reviews+personal preference, it's hard to recommend because a monitor can meat endless needs and requirements and preferences based upon your use, desk, spacing, lighting etc.. I will recommend lg and Samsung panels, and vesa mount compatible monitors.
Take all above with a grain of salt and do your research. Most brands can deliver gold products and waste a like
Each year you get a last guide
I hope you keep this "last guide" updated every year. Don't even mind if you reuse footage as long as they're still relevant.
EMILY IS BACK BITCHES WHOOOOOOOOO!
Really happy to see Emily in an episode again!
How to build a computer
Step 1: Overwhelm the audience with information to scare them out of building it in the first place.
Step 2: buy a prebult one instead.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit.
Should of spent more time showing the viewer how to set up Windows 11 properly. Everyone is capable of building a PC thanks to guides, but too many people run into software issues, whether its game stutter… slow pc… audio issues.. speed issues.. show the viewer exactly how to install every driver needed, finish updates, important programs and stuff to avoid
This video is a 2 weeks late. I just build my first PC after 10 years of watching this channel.
just wanted to say, I use the phrase "roll that intro" in every video I make. I just felt the widest grin forming on my face when I heard linus say it!
Oh come on! I just built one last weekend and actually ran into some of the stuff you mentioned here that were not in the last guide! What incredibly bad timing for me
We've been tricked, we've been backstabbed and we've been, quite possibly, bamboozled.
So great to see Emily back in one of these!!
Good job on feminizing your voice Emily. Making great progress ❤❤❤
i am team intel AMD does not last… anything AMD i have had only last 5 years then dies anything intel and nvidia are tanks thats all i am saying
Do I need (to build) a new pc: no.
Do I just like to watch this vid because of the complete team and insightful solid info: yes.
I just really applaud the way LTT is putting the team together. It really seems like everybody can take the role they like. 💪💪
as usual its all about clicks and moneys
Linus is killing other youtube channel with this video.
It would've been nice to have a shorter video with only the differences (maybe an unlisted video that you mention at the beginning of this one saying "if you already saw the last guide, click on the link in the description to see what has changed since").
I am about to upgrade some parts of the pc I built last year using the previous video, so the ideas are still fresh in my mind :P.
i saw that.
Happy to see Emily back!
Pov: you’re a pc noob and you find this video
Becomes grand master at pc building
I've never built a pc, but I know when I finally do (hopefully in the next year), I'll have a fantastic guide to make sure I put all the bits and bytes in the right spots! This is such a cool resource to have on the channel for newbies like me😅🖤
I just built a PC in February, now my source material is obsolete. I want a refund! 😂
Currently watching this on the gaming PC I built using the last video lol
Honestly thought that they would included some recommendations for like mouse and keyboard etc considering they explained about cpu, memory etc for the use purpose of building your PC
didn't expect anthony to come back

So happy to see Emily here! We've missed you! 💙

The return of Anthony! Yay! I missed him – he is the smart!
I would really be picky branding something liike this.
6:40 so no mention of the new Intel Ultra chips? We’re still talking I3, I7, I9?

Eeeey my PC is arriving Today!

How do you determine if the GPU you want fits in the old office machine you're eyeing if you want to go that route?
Thank you guys for going through the effort to remake this guide!
