Comments

  1. Translations were wrong

  2. Btw it's not just the french or german that failed. When switching to italian at 4:40 it just said "in this room there is a camera, a lamp, a table, a chair, a tv, and a can of sparkling water"

  3. Honestly, how popular are voice commands? I swear tech companies have been trying to make this a thing for over 20 years, but who wants to talk to their devices? It’s awkward at home and even worse in public.

  4. I know I was bc and am still extremely critical of this device because it is the first time a product has come out that can be replaced by any os update to iOS or android or an app for each platform since the chumby ..

But from your experience it seems like the is is in. iOS 1.0 state like it could benefit from piggy backing off of a native phone companion app until it’s kinks are worked out and also the puase between responses is similar to what I’ve seen with bard and gpt but copilot powered by gpt but on a device without a screen it seems a little more pronounced it could use some help with sound design or maybe even adding some canned response to fill in the background… there’s no audible representation of a empty field or loading screen/ animation so it seems really slow even though it’s about normal

Maybe this needs a boost from on device intelligence… but given the fact that it’s over hearing it may need to have a more efficient chipset designed from the ground up for this type of thing I dont know.

It’s very ten one and I don’t like the aesthetics enough to invest in it yet

The same goes for the rabbit r1 it’s playful design is cool but the orange color is a big no I’d rather a white or space gray slab with orange accents

  5. Hot garbage. Apple is lucky the people responsible for this are gone.

  6. Hello, this is Juicero. Hi Humane, what's up.. we gonna end up with same fate.

  7. Omg this is the first time I've seen someone using Pixel 8's temperature sensor for something meaningful haha

  8. So it's a smartwatch but worse

  9. Excellent review as always!!! Thank you so much for doing it.

  10. I think it’s safe to say AR glasses are the next big thing, we’re just waiting for the hardware to slim down at this point. The AI pins, the Rabbit R1 thing, and foldables are kind of dead ends in my opinion.

  11. Oh dear…Apple Vision Pro, Humane AI Pin, and other newfangled hardware are just expensive toys that companies flash around from time to time to keep interest into their inexpensive ACTUAL sellers. Don't buy into it, CNET, literally.

  12. I really hope all the engineers leave ASAP and find better companies to work for before word gets out that the product sucks…. because there is something to be said about the technical challenges that were overcome while building the pin (esp the laser projection) but man is it a stupid application

  13. What percentage of users will put this in the washer? I'd say at least >30%

  14. The subscription will chase people away. The device itself is expensive and then you have to add subscription then its costly. If you dont get a subscription not sure how useful the device will be.

  15. Why didn’t they just make an AI focused smartwatch that works standalone from a smartphone?

They could project onto the wrist with more stability if they still want to push that gimmick

  16. A self contained phone that doesn't give you basic tools that you regularly use on your phone as demonstrated in other reviews. They took the idea of not using a screen a bit too far: it doesn't do alarms, reminders, etc. Is it an accessory or is it ACTUALLY a device?

  17. The consumer product isn't really their end game. If anything, this is to add to their portfolio for bigger companies to scoop them up for their patents and experience.

  18. It's so slow you can see it's broadcasting everything it does via 4g to the cloud and waiting for a response.

  19. 쓰레기제품

  20. FINALLY!!

  21. Awesome! A more frustrating siri.

  22. Frusturistic XD

  23. So freakin slow. Looks like I won’t be buying one.

  24. Dead on arrival.

  25. So its a peace of crap

  26. Hardware looks cool. That’s all.

  27. This is cool but unfortunately unnecessary tech

  28. some say AI pin is still processing the "beam me up scotty" reference.

  29. the funny part is on the bike scene when u asked what kind of bike that was….at the same time i pulled my cell out of my pocket and found that bike literally 2 seconds before you got a reply back….

  30. I've finally shifted into luddite mode. I find that there are better things to be doing than whatever this is trying to do.

  31. Mistakes a ca for a movie. How could anything be worse than Siri?

  32. Ai would be way better integrated into Glases or Brain Chip.

  33. Humane has still a lot I mean a LOT of work to do

  34. I feel like you could see Google just make their own version of this with Gemini built in. But I really think no-one will be talking about this device 6 months from now.

  35. This device is so pointless

  36. I am sick of everything being a gotdamn subscription. You have no idea how many things I will not interact with because they are subscription. I think I needed a TV remote on my phone and there’s an app for it, but it’s a subscription no app for me. I’m not paying a subscription for stuff that I used to just be able to buy.

  37. Dude , u look straight out of Star Trek
Orange shirt and little black logo over the chest and everything…

  38. Title is still a music service 😂 this gadget is a flop

  39. One problem with these AI gadgets that doesn't get talked about enough is the response lag. I'm guessing the pin is using the cloud to do all the heavy lifting, and it's far too slow. For these little gadgets to work, there needs to be huge strides in local AI and on-device AI that only needs to cloud compute when a request is far outside their operational range.

  40. Nobody: asked
    Humane: AI pin

This unnecessary trash gadget embodies the gimmicky AI crazy hype going right now.

  41. Dead on arrival. No, dead the moment it was conceived. Idiots thought of this device.

  42. This seems very insecure for someone who has a heart pacemaker.

  43. "I love magic and improve" said nobody ever

  44. my god this is horrible 🙁

  45. So it's real but half baked so far
