Comments

  1. Give them hands instead of feet like a chimp and it could climb poles to do maintanence etc.

  2. Hardly a comparison! You didn't even focus on the fact that the Telsa bot has fingers that actually test how hard the finger pressure is so it can pick up fragile items vs hard objects similare to us humans. Therefore more future proof for doing human jobs, like cooking, cleaning.

  3. I'll be real I think the Tesla bot is fake and no where close to being anything functional.

  4. i swear boston dynamics just straight up made white v1

  5. Well…. compared to BD products, the Ă–mnimus looks like something from 1960isch..

  6. These things will be kicking down yr door and ripping you out of yr house in bracelets or worse for posting "wrong think" in about ten years idk wtf all these dweebs are so proud of.

  7. Not scary

  8. I want to see a bot deep in human waste cleaning out a septic tank

  9. Boston Dynamics always produce Potentially Killer Robot. Moron those support this company

  10. Did none of these company's watch movies growing up? This never ends well for humanity, last thing we need is a real automaton war with these things learning warfare, best bet is disassemble and abandon the project.

  11. I need an army of the new Atlas…..for home security reasons…LA… what can I say!?

  12. Apple is coming out with a robot, but its main objective is to prevent people from upgrading it.

  13. how many humans have these robots killed already

  14. There's no such thing as "job no one wants" because people don't work because they want but because they need.
Also robots are very bad idea, the more robots the more unemployed people , the more more unemployed the less people will be buying stuff,so factories will produce less and fire more people, it's a snow ball that keep growing, but rich people are too busy thinking of how much money they will save not having to pay salaries to realize that people will have no money to buy their products.

  15. its fake

  16. V1 vs Optimus Prime moment

  17. My Samsung Galaxy phone is ample for me. I am certain I do not want my car driving without me.

  18. No more jobs for less educated?

  19. People keep presenting the Tesla robot toy performance as comparable to Atlas. The Tesla bot has done nothing that Asimo could not do and better 15 years ago. I am not saying it can't do more amazing taks, but what they have shown is slow fragile movement. Not appropriate for a real-world environment. It's not even close. It could be that Tesla's focus is AI and then they are going to build a capable modern robot, or it could be that they are hiding the actual performance of the machine, but right now is 2005 technology, but with advanced motors. In fact, Asimo could kick a ball 9 years ago.

  20. Boston Dynamics has better technology in the development of Tesla robotics is only disposable mass production

  21. Tesla is no where close to Boston Dynamics.

  22. Ah yes the Insitute has finaly made the first generation of synths.

  23. Teslabot hobbles along like it's got load in its pants. It can barely walk.

Compare that to Atlas sprinting off camera.

  24. if I were BD, I wouldn’t appreciate you elevating the Teslabot to the level of my advanced robotics.

  25. I don’t trust anything Elon says, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Tesla bot footage originated at ILM.

  26. They both look fake to me🤔

  27. Musk just tanks everything he gets involved with

  28. I've been tracking 'Red' Whiteker, and Boston Dynamics for now 30 years. They're good, and had their major break in the Three Mile Island cleanup, but they take a 'top down approach' which looks good on stage. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it requires the programmer provide everything the machine needs to know in advance. Personally, I think the 'bottom up' approach is the way to go.

  29. Boston Dynamics has the lead with thee body, but Tesla has the lead with the brain.

  30. my comparison vs Tesla's bot…
It's like comparing GODZILLA to a guy in a godzilla suit. Fight!
(Tesla has apparently FAKED and put out MISLEADING videos about its own robot's capabilities)

  31. Satanic companies

  32. Boston Dynamics Atlas 2 robot seems flexible and agile. That is an awesome design and clearly a front winner.

  33. Seems like Boston wants the military version vs domestic help.

  34. Why are we so fascinated by the humanoid bot? It’s an incredibly inefficient form. I would think something more like an octopus that would have tentacles that could extend reach and grab things more easily than even using hands and able to access and maneuver through much more versatile environments I don’t know why the humanoid form is being pursued with such vigor. Even the four-legged bot in the form of a dog is superior to the humanoid form. I guess I’m just disappointed in the lack of creativity in bot development. it just seems we could do much better.

  35. It would be good if they could develop field worker robots.
