The 86″ LG Ultra Stretch Digital Signage Display has an aspect ratio of 58:9, making it relatively wider than just about any other display we’ve tried to game on. How well does it game? The answer is more interesting than you might think, and depends much more on how the game was made than when.

  1. Is no one gonna talk abt the reallyyyyy long keyboard ?😂

  2. Find a non-gaming monitor, play some bunch of games on it, and complain.

  3. There's a rhythm game on steam called groove coaster that comes from the arcade game of the same name. Since the arcade screen is oriented vertically, the steam version also allow vertical orientation. Playing that with this monitor would be interesting

  19. we need to make the 180 degree curved monitor mainstream
I don't want a high fov, I want to be able to move my head and see whats next to me like in real life, then adjust the character or the player model arms acordingly (depending on if it's an fps or whatnot)
I want this shit to be like the minecraft head moving around and then the body only moving when the head can't turn any further
I want to have eyes on the back (left and right sides) of my head
aint nobody sneaking up on me with Dolby surround audio and a 180 degree view, clear of blindspots

  20. We tried using using LG SuperSign stuff ages ago and it was terrible, we ended up going to raspberry pi's for the last 6-7 years now. I'm guessing they have matured and fixed alot of the total kludginess of their old software. The original sign editor we tried looked like it was made by an grade school kid who was doing busy work with Visual Basic. The server / client that came with it was also terrible and overly complicated for simple tasks.

  21. Did I miss the part where doom is played?

  22. Useful for writing tailwind css classes

  23. no Minecraft, no like

  24. imagine how big the heads are in CSGO, impossible to miss hahahahaha

  25. I see this used best as a subway rail system monitor, that my dad works at. Instead of having an entire room length of monitors next to each other, lol.
