Virtually all of that was painful. That minigun was right up there with the worst of it, Hollywood!
This really was fun!
I was expecting mr robot for great tech, they use pretty realistic hacking techniques in that show, including needing to get someone physically on site to insert a USB key somewhere to insert their virus in the network, and social engineering, blackmail etc to make it happen. Way more likely to happen than 'decrypting router n°4'.
Amongst other things they also use firmware flaws in shitty IoT connected AC units, also painfully real.
You should have done Mr Robot, its the most authentic portrayal of hacking but it will be interesting if you find any faults in it
Despite there being lots of completely nonsensical stuff in it, I love Die Hard 4
of course yall gotta checkout the Mr Robot, a lot of hacking, some are unrealistic cos it is like sped up version of it

19:30, one thing i deeply hate about this scene. In this scene its a Gen 3 prius, in the next scene its suddenly a gen 2 prius with a COMPLETELY different dash… Thats pathetic attention to detail on a movie with this budget.

Sometimes they know what they should present but the people watching these shows 10 years ago have no idea either way.

For the record, the entire eighth season of Castle is some of the worst TV I've ever seen, which is saying something because the first six seasons are excellent. That hacking scene is just the tip of the iceberg.

CSI: Cyber could be an episode on it's own. The best thing about CSI:C is that it made Scorpion seem like a Shakespeare/MENSA co-production.

I have one request. Can you guys cover the movie Nerve?
TLDR nerve is a movie all about the dark web and being on there and making money and if you don't bad things will happen and blah blah blah. Just watch the movie and you're going to be like what the fuck am I watching? It is so bad. The most unrealistic thing if you know anything about the deep web is that you can't stream on it for shit but I do know videos can be watched but you can't stream to it. I'm talking about the tor network. It's so bad, it's so inaccurate, and it just makes me laugh and cry at the same time of how bad and hilarious it is
