sorry but that aren't first gaming mouse, before that, there was logitec wingaman gaming mouse based on Logitech MouseMan (1990) and in 1999 they make wingman mouse with forcefeedback, that razer was the first mouse USB with 1000 dpi
and it came in 2 version 1000dpi and 2000dpi
that mouse was a fail as had many problem.

I miss my old Logitech wingman gamingmouse. I have never had such a good aim since that mouse.
Back in the day I would take those balls out of the schools computers mice and most of the time there was never a working mouse.
