You're not looking at 4K 240 Hertz because neither AMD or Nvidia have the capacity to output 4K 240 The RTX 4090 has display port 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 which can do a max of 4K at 120 or something like that you need the display port 2.1 80 GB in order to output 4K 240

the dual mode thing here seems to be an entirely windows created issue, as with a little prodding you can easily force 1080p as 1080p without the disparity in active signal resolution. It's a terrible problem and it's incredibly frustrating that we can't just click "force 1080p" but that said 480hz 1080p and dual EDID is a cool trick with a use case. but would love to see you guys ranting about microsoft making resolutions so goofy under the hood.
I've had some minor issues with EDID jank and one of the most useful purchases I bought was a force 1080p 60hz EDID HDMI dongle. It just lies to the device, it's great.

Same tech as the TVs? 1080p 240hz nice for fast-paced shooters or co-ops, 4k 144/120 the rest of the time. Cool for the living room.
I'm a professional valorant coach who does content sometimes. Been using this monitor as part of a partnership with LG – and for my workflow I absolutely LOVE this display. Absolutely game changing for esports players who do content as well.
