You get months of usage out a single AA battery on a G305, that's one of it's pros if you only want to change your battery once a year and don't wanna be bothered by a wire or having to charge your mouse once a week

It seems that alll of these "top gaming" companies are out of ideas. Chinese mice market (like in mechanical keyboard market) gave them a big wake up call with cheap and better copies of their own products, and they just can't come up with something better to take the crown, which they lost at some point.
Logitech needs to make a G703, with new tech & a weight reduction! Was my first mouse the most comfy mouse to use.
I think Logitech is going down. In quality, in price to performance (i referring to the mouse sensor). The only positive side of Logitech is they probably make one the best handled device. Its comfortable, and thats it.
It looks like you can use it on the power play mat without the AA battery? But that just means you need another accessory. What's the weight without the battery?

Their own G305, and the Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed are both better and cheaper (and also battery powered options)
And the Sora v2 is barely 5 quid more, is literally one of the best mice ever made, AND has it's own internal battery… Logitech missed the mark by a mile.
Unpopular opinion – this is a mouse for new to gaming women who will absolutely buy this in droves because 'design', (and it's small as heck) just like their stupid white cloud bundle deal stuff.
I guarantee you this will be incredibly popular with that demographic, especially if they bundle it with a white powerplay mat setup. Just you watch.
