AMD, Intel, Nvidia, Apple and pretty much everyone else think you are an IDIOT. They think they can just mislead consumers by tweaking their naming schemes for their hardware (Remember the RTX 4080 12GB?) and making them more confusing. How bad has it become? We’re gonna tell you.

Amazing Products TV Apple Vision Pro – 5 Things You Didn’t Know

Comments

  1. i agree! that costco soap tastes great!

  2. this is the main reason I moved away from AMD. Lost trust and never bought anything from them again

  3. There are adds served in Youtube videos?

  4. HDMI is another batch of confusion and marketing snake oil.

  5. I almost bought a ryzen 5 7520u laptop a couple of years ago, assuming it was a 6 core, since the older/slower-looking 5500u was a 6 core too…Nope, it was a lousy quad core, with a much slower igpu than the 5500u🙄

  6. All these big companies just see the public as a wallet they can just pull money from, not a public they want to provide good products for in exchange for money, ya know, value for value.

  7. True

  8. In this new generations they completely destroy branding (both, amd and intel…)

  9. Or just look at the specs instead. Read the article instead of just the headline kind of.

  10. U – like U do not play games at all, even old ones.

  11. We need a database (or AI) that simply spits out the things a buyer needs:
Question to DB/AI: Architecture: "Latest", Hardware: "Laptop". Make me a list sorted by "runtime"

  12. Thats why i just use passmark website to compare speeds of cpus and get the fastest sub 400 buck cpu

  13. Deceiving customers into buying older existing stock rather than lettings them easily determine which laptop is newest is intentional, if not for the manufacturer, it certainly benefits retailers who have to hold stock in many SKUs.

  14. we love bullshites

  15. Oh the cpu stuff is definitely to trick people into buying the worse processor. Its annoying

  16. At 9:37 , I buy the brand if Project Farm says its good. That guy puts in the time and effort.

  17. Finally once in a blue moon we get content made for something besides entertainment.

  18. Dragon ball's super saiyan mode is way less confusing than the 3 companies you've mentioned here

  19. 7:59 "Power-optimized lifestyle" so it's for cyborgs then?

  20. well , Most of you are 😇

  21. just gonna buy old hardware

  22. You talk of gut feelings. Me, I pay attention to technical specifications. Those are the only gold in this industry that means anything. 1:53

  23. What do you mean at the beginning and end of the YouTube video I'm getting breaks in my videos every like minute! Then it twirls around for about 5 before it starts playing again.

  24. USB 4.0 & Pcie Gen 5, the market is so detached what most consumers want like why not offer a budget am5 option thats good like the ryzen am4 1000,2000 & 3000 series, youre not giving actual good budget options, and they are continuing in that trend because the demand is high af 🎉🎉🎉

  25. Balancing supply and demand via confusing the layman with technically randomized nonsense. So it slows us down building our own dang computers 😂😂😂😂…… Now we need a bachelor's in hardware serial marketing inorder to even understand the hierarchy of the chips lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

  26. I blame the stock market for all of this.
When companies are run by people who give a shit about the long term performance of the company, they work on customer retention and safe, reliable profits for decades to come.
As soon as you allow your shareholders to take control, the major decisions are all made by "investors" who don't know a damn thing about the industry but know that if their number doesn't get at least 7% bigger within three months they'll burn the whole thing to the ground.

  27. What did Squarespace do?

  28. Thank you for this!

I'm currently in the market for a laptop and I'm skipping anything AMD because I don't want to try to decipher anything. Finding a decent budget laptop is already hard enough.

  29. If AMD names and prices their products responsibly using the year in the lead can be somewhat reasonable. Older architecture higher end parts can fit well into the middle of a lineup of new generation parts. Like in AMD GPU land a 6950XT is clearly better than a 7600XT, so it could make sense to renumber them as AMD suggests.
