Comments

  1. That sounds so fucking bad lmao

  2. For $500, it looks cheaply made.

  3. I'll play around with it, if i can get it cheaper than a wooting maybe if not rooting gets my money

  4. You should rather build a custom one for $350-$500 rather than buying this. This is one is not worth the price AT ALL!

  5. Went into configurator, just swapped colors on 75% variant… $235… yeah, no, thank you. This review is way too positive as what this keyboard is. And thank you for sound test, my old, stock HyperX Origins 60, that has the most rattliest stabs ever made, sounds better.

  6. Seeing a lot of people commenting how this is overpriced at $500, although I do agree it might not match up to the quality expectation of a $500 keyboard, it is important to remember that the one that Frank has is fully spec-ed out with all possible options.

If you just want a HE, 60%, plastic casing barebones board, it is only going to be around $135, which imo is quite competitive with other offerings from different brands. I found that the wireless option really jacks up the price because it locks you into the PRO model which starts at $268 at barebones.

If people are comparing this solely to the Wooting, bare in mind that they do not currently provide a wireless keyboard as far as I know. Hence although I do not think the wireless GMMK 3 HE is "worth" the price premium, I do think the base GMMK 3 HE is quite competitive with a lot of fun customisable options as well.

  7. it may sound good but for $800 AUD, I am happy to buy a better gpu lol

  8. it sounds like a cheap $20 keyboard

  9. It is fcking crazy how so many people view keyboards as JUST a sound thing and can't view or comment on anything else…

Not gonna name names but some youtubers have ruined people's perception by spamming cringe videos only about things sounding a certain way for x amont of money.

  10. lol no. I own a GMMK2 and was really hoping that they'd actually just remake the GMMK2 or GMMK Pro with wireless support. Instead, they gave us this? They literally took out QMK support…why? Don't take out the only way for Linux to customize the keys then say you support Linux, especially when you have no intention of porting Core to Linux.

3000? In a $500 board?!?! That battery size is pitiful.

I didn't even notice that R.Ctrl is gone. I actually use that key FFS. Yes really, you are losing functionality. Why remove a key that every other keyboard keeps? It didn't even add anything in its stead.

I thought the comments were probably going overboard regarding the sound. Oh dear god what have they done? Is that a plastic toy?
This release was bad enough for me to finally unsubscribe from the newsletter. Thanks for eradicating any possibility of buyers remorse I could have with my Lemokey P1 Pro.

Don't compare this to a Razor or Steelseries. Those are a whole separate market. Why not compare it to the Keychron Q1 HE or the Wooting boards? You know, the boards that people would actually compare this to? It's meh in almost every market.

  11. Yeah I'm buying a Boog 75 at that point. I like what they did with the customizer because you can really create something that's unique to you, and maybe if you don't get HE switches it'll sound decent or even good but some of the prices they're charging for things is insane. I will say at least a modest setup can hit around $200 but that's with no keycaps/switches and still pretty high for what you're getting. They need a serious price decrease if they're genuinely trying to sell this.

  12. Wow you can rebind the keys in the software!? This is a real strong competitor to Logitech! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  13. YIKES 🥶

  14. How can they manage to make a keyboard sound so terrible? Jesus… you can buy a Mode Sonnet for this kind of money.

  15. Consdering games like Countrstrike have flat out banned things like rapid trigger, I don't see the point in even putting them in a keyboard. Cool idea, but if you can't even use it, what's the point

  16. lol your name is on their website for that keyboard design and you don’t even like it 😅 especially the keycaps…wuh?

  17. Gloriously bad. I can get a $100 keyboard that sounds and feels better than this

  18. $500 for no internal, or external weight, when it has essentially the same internals and features of prebuilt aluminum HE boards at the $120 or lower range is just egregious. cant believe they had so much time to catch up with how fast the keyboard market has evolved and yet they STILL fell flat with this release. I would pay 140$ max for the prebuilt variant shown in this video, especially for a company with the size and manufacturing capabilities as glorious easily being able to get the price lower just from having access to more machines.

  19. A 500 dollar keyboard that sounds horrible… Put that one in the toilet with that Logitech.. hard pass for me. No brainer.

  20. Oh god that sounds horrible lol. They dont learn

  21. dont waste your money on anything glorious makes. I have the GMMK Pro and since day1 its had input issues. Constant double clicks or keys not registering . Tried multiple switches including switches bought from Glorious, same issues. They told me it was firmware issues but even after multiple updates the issue was never fixed. Not worth the money. If you want to spend this much on a keyboard buy a wooting or build something 10x better

  22. Why would I get this when I can get a fully built Wooting 80HE for $60 less than the barebones?

  23. I have the keychron q1 he and its pretty good not had any issues whatsoever i did however change the stabilisers and for a fraction of the price

  24. Twice the price as Keychron Q1 HE? Hmmm

  25. just get a wooting, glorious is so overrated and over priced.

  26. lol that sounds dreadful

  27. $500 dollar keyboard that sounds like a memberane keyboard lol Would rather buy a Wooting 80HE, Keychron Q1 HE or even the Akko and Monsgeek HE keyboards rather than this! 😂😂😂😂😂

  28. No thanks. Bad post by Frank. RIP

  29. So what I think people don’t realize is Hall effect switches do NOT sound good. No Hall effect board sounds good unless you maybe get a custom chassis for the wooting PCB. Wooting has made it clear that they will be working on Hall effect switches that sound good too. I am not defending glorious here. I am not a fan of this board for multiple reasons. But just thought I’d let people know Hall effect has a way to go in terms of customization.

  30. 500 dollar keyboard that sounds kinda mehhh. I'd definitely go with the silent keys. 😀

  31. bro aula f75 and ajazz ak820 pro somehow better than $500 keyboard and theyre under 100 bucks, wanna go with aluminium case? theres also monsgeek m1w which are still way cheaper but better lol

  32. I bet this guy makes loves to his keyboard cuz he looks obsessed 😭😭

  33. Can't imagine the s*** show the R&D was because from what I see, I don't see the "Research". So many better options out there. Flopped products as always. I wonder if the 8k polling rate is even consistent considering their history with performance dips in their other products. Would love to see someone test that.

  34. oof, did Glorious just 'hold my mouse pad' Asus?

  35. Oh god I'm not even a Mechanical Keyboard Enthusiast and I like Cherry Blues but 9:26 that actually sounds cheap asf wtf? It looks like a TOY, a Mechanical Keyboard Toy for 6 year olds training in PCs!

  36. wooting 80he better tbh 🤷‍♂️

  37. this is nowhere near worth the price

  38. Why woud you ever get that over a Wooting or if you want true custome feeling Keychron Q1 HE . 500 Euroes just to get a full metal case is insane to me thats insanely overpriced
