4070 super is a king at 1080P, a knight at 1440P, and a squire at 4K. I would not personally use it for 4K, but with some games it could be fine.

I'm building it for 1440p gaming because i want to move up from 1080p, does this mean i will be able to reasonably play in 4k ?.

im waiting to see what the 5080s will be like in terms of power and price im hoping it will be slightly faster than the 4090 and cost around 900-1000 dollars if they dont do that and price the hell outta it then i go for a 4000 series card for my 4k gaming upgrade either way should pair nicely with a 7800x3d
