  1. CPU has next to no effect to the GPU performance for AMD/Nvidia. Zero, Zilch, Nada. Overall system performance will bring the level up but that is different. You can go from 1080p to 4k and the CPU usage won't change hovering around 50%. It will still do the most basic tasks regardless of resolution/GPU load. Personally if you have any top CPU from last 5 plus year you are good.

Only point is if you are using REBAR. Again just like E Cores the gain with REBAR for AMD/Nvidia. Zero, Zilch, Nada. +-5%. But for INTEL ARC architecture things start to change. Alchemist almost doubles it performance with REBAR on enabling the CPU to pair with ARC GPU to configure a two silicon architecture. It worked on AMD CPU but on INTEL CPU we are seeing 20% lift and with every driver update the gap is widening exposing the real potential of the Alchemist optimizing the pairing to INTEL CPU.

So lets take a step forward. X870 and Z890 boards will give direct lane PCI 5.0 to the CPU that you might want to call "REBAR on steroids". Now you can call this as true dual silicon performance/architecture for INTEL ARC. Hence the early launch for the X870 even that the CPU's are maybe coming 2025 if not at all. In real life this means no queuing or waiting. This means no stutter or broken frames. Comparing performance it means ARC 60FPS is better than 120FPS from AMD/Nvidia for gaming experience without stutter at high resolution/demand. In Wattage it means Arrow Lake 250-295W + Battlemage 250-275W = 500-570W combined power. Wattage in general = performance. AMD CPU would give you 170W max and loose 125W of performance in the worse case. Add to that no queuing and no waiting where every frame is good. 5080 for example 400W standalone card.

    Then we have the price.

    5080 $1200-1500 predicted + Ryzen 9 9950X $650 + X870/Ram $600 = $2450- 2750.

    Arrow Lake 285K $600 + Battlemage $500 + Z890 board/Ram $600 = $1700.

Plus I predict the ARC all INTEL combo will wipe the floor with AMD/Nvidia combo.

  2. I upgraded to a new system 11 months ago (i7-14700K, 2TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, RTX 4080 ProArt, 32GB DDR5). Big upgrade from my 2016 system (i7-6700K, 1TB Samsung SATA SSD, GTX 1070, 16GB DDR4). I was gonna upgrade to an AMD CPU but I didn't like the motherboards so went with Intel.

  3. i bought a 14900k for 400 brand new yesterday. After seeing gamers nexus show that intels new chipset loses performance I am good.

  4. you probably wont see this but im buying a pc and have no clue what i want or need. i play roblox and like assetto corsa, but with tons of mods. i want like good fps and storage i have a budget of 2.5k i would just like a high fps strong pc 😅😅 tips?? im from the uk btw

  5. TLDR, Intel won't take any crowns in gaming.

  6. 24H2 has a lot of problems

  7. Does it affect performance for older generations of CPU's from AMD ? (Ryzen 5000/3000 & 2000 series)

  8. i stopped watching at 2.30 because i had windows update to do

  9. I think that intel is going for more environmental factors than gaming factors, because they could have went the road of giving us a lot more power to complete with the next gen AMD lineup but they decided to go the environmental route instead, and I give them props for that.

  10. Choosing a gaming CPU has never been easier in years. (its not complicated like this video claims in the first 4 second)
New PC (Best) = AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
    New PC (Budget) = AMD Ryzen 7 7700 / AMD Ryzen 5 7600
    Existing AM4 People = 5700X3D
Both AMD 9000 series and Intel Core Ultra 200 are just more power efficient and not much faster from last gen and their price does not justify purchasing them.

  11. You shoud make this video after the nex intel cpu and new amd 9800X3D. In this monet that video is pointless. 😁

  12. It seems YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH INTEL MARKETING TEAM RECENTLY 😂

  13. солевой какой то…

  14. what's so complicated about gaming CPU? The best are the AMD X3d parts. It's only complicated if fanboyism are involved.

  15. which idiot is going to take a risk on intel cpus? You have to wait a few months to know whether they even work properly = this suggests they dont test their cpus, doesnt it? Again, who in their right mind would buy intel… who in their right mind would want to take the risk?

  16. I'm using a 2700x from AMD, going to be upgrading very soon, not sure if I should go with the 7950x3d or wait for the 9950x3d

  17. Again all you idiots thinking we’re going to get better performance in games from any cpu in next 4 to 5 years your delusional. Thee is something called diminishing returns. We’re at a cap 🧢 on performance without increasing power consumption and GPU’s getting better, and u don’t mean DLSS I’m talking pure raster nothing will change.

  18. With how bad this generation has been having a 7800x3D feels even better.

  19. bro got paid to not show the x3d

  20. To get the windows 11 24H2 update, you have to participate in the Windows Insider Program.

  21. hey marcus im currently building a 7900xtx pc and i was going to use the 7800x3d but im sure you know whats going on with that atm. whats the next best cpu for the 7900xtx and cpu cooler? preferably an aio.

  22. AMD YES!!

  23. Will wait for 9800X3D. ARL is disappointing!

  24. At least intel was honest about preformance compared to the x3d cpus. That's a first.

  25. 9800x3d will be this years saving grace when it comes to new gaming tech. No gpus lackluster cpus from both amd and intel with the exception of the x3d variant hopefully amd has put x3d on both chip let's on the 9950x3d to make it so much better.

  26. Oh Marcus, your thumbnail got me lol shame shame shame. Lol

  27. Anyone one wanna help me perfect my build I need advice on what cpu to get. With the 7800X3D being double the price I KNOW it’s the best especially pairing a 4080 super but gosh over 600$ no thank you. Anyways here’s my upcoming build i’m getting

    RTX 4080 Super
    T Force Delta 32gb 6000 CL30
    NZXT 1000W ATX PSU
Asus tuf gaming b650 plus MB
    Thermal right Pearless Assassin 120
    Corsair MP600 Elite 2TB
Montech Sky two dual tempered glass (comes with 4 pre installed fans)

Any advice / help with cpu or any other changes is greatly appreciated !!

  28. If Asus releases an am5 version of the z790 ALY mobo I’ll stick with Amd but if not I’ll go for the new intel chips because they are making a z890 ALY mobo

  29. should i get 7800x3d for 400 usd or wait for the 9800x3d
