iOS 18 is buggiest iOS I’ve had in a while. I’ve even used betas on iOS 17. I’m surprised they even thought it was ok enough to call it stable. Early iOS 17 was buggy also. Os peer review is bad currently. I’m also annoyed of the rotation issue and it seems more prevalent in recent updates than before.
I think the car might of played a role in the CarPlay issue. It seems to have zero issues on Toyota and nissan my parents have.
In my option iOS really needs a refactor to cleanup the stuff they have as a lot of good features are hidden in settings and in hard to find places. Also the lack of uniformity in settings is astonishing, action button menu is so jarringly different that it doesn’t feel right. They have stacked enough onto iOS 7 to the point it needs to rethink how things are at in a convenient way. Even I am liking how Samsung is laying out their settings.

99.9% of iPhone users do not care at all about the things Linus whined about in this video. What’s more, a lot of them would actually be confused as hell if some of features he talked about were available and the default.

In the old days we would call applications programs. So, one could consider explorer.exe to be a program whilst an application would be something you'd be productive with, or entertained by. Like Winword.exe or minesweeper.

iOS 18 favorite feature is Safari Reader Mode (Also On Other OS). Being able to de-lag a page and remove stuff that prevents me reading any article properly and haste free makes life so much better!!!

Pēctam "skolas" praktiskās braukšanas eksāmens. Ar instruktoru minimums 10 braukšanas par 45 minūtēm. 20-40 eiro. Reāli 30+ braukšanas. Tad kad esi nokārtojis "skolas" abus eksāmenus, tiec pie valsts teorētiskā eksāmena. 30 jautājumi, 2 vai 3 var būt nepareizi (neatceros). Un kad to esi nokārtojis, tiec pie valsts praktiskā eksāmena, kur, ja nemaldos, ir jādabū 8 no 10 balēm. Viena gājēja nepalaišana uz gājēja pārejas, eksāmens nenokārtots.
