i wish i could set up a multi-monitor setup again. i used to have a 4×4 monitor setup in my old apartment over 20yrs ago. currently only a 32:9 45'' (divided into 21:9&11:9), and two 21'' ones above that.
and i would give my whole brick tanks collection if i could add 1 or 2 more monitors 🙁
The problem with fully white setups is that you can't eat or drink anywhere near it, and need to heavily wash your entire body before using your setup and it will still get grubby after a few weeks

I had to monitors for years. And I didn't think I could ever go back to just one monitor back then.
Now I have one 43'' 4k – and it feels like having 4-ish monitors, but with the benefit, that there's no seams and no support issues to play games across all of them… now I don't think I could go back to two smaller monitors instead.
2 huge monitors you say? But I haven't even got enough field of view to even see those – unless I increase the viewing distance (at which point they are basically smaller monitors again).

so, if opencl/cuda cannot use gpu/cpus fully, then where nvidia got their say 20tflops numbers. not even close. its like you got your tflops with 1000x error. yes the cpu/gpu should actually be able to do said tera-number of floating point operations, say C=A*B float multiplications in a second.
I went to two monitors for the first time 3 years ago, had to go down to 1 for a couple of weeks, and I will never go back to just one monitor again, hated those two weeks.
Luke is so wrong. Just went from three monitors to one, and I couldn't disagree more with the fact that you need at least two…If that's a necessity for you, most likely, you just don't know how to manage your desktop properly. Also it makes everything so much less distracting. Also it doesn't ruin your neck with constant useless movement.

8:10 Totally a day trader. I've done lots of day trading and easily use 4-6 monitors without trying, and that's even with split screen. There's just so much to watch and it's not just charts and indicators but stuff like chat rooms, socials, news sites, stocktwits, ect… And good luck if you run with multiple brokerages.

I used to use 2 monitors and actually went back to using just 1. I still have the second monitor just keeping it unplugged. The reason i went back was because if i put like discord or something on the second monitor i find myself distracted and going back and forth between monitors way too often. With 1 monitor i can just lock into the game and I get proper gaming experience.

I do the same thing.
I have my setup mushed into the corner so that I have space for tiny projects and in this persons case I would guess he uses it for either tinkering with camera gear or for taking photos of small stuff.
Ehh.. 4G internet came out 2009 Linus.. I don't know about your americans/canadians.. But here in Europe people's phones have their own actual internet connetions, instead of just connected to your nearest WiFi. That truck thing would've been perfectly fine even a decade ago.
Gaming pc design idea: as an avid bowler and gamer I want to see a gaming pc that looks like a bowling ball. You could have some fans in the holes and you would want so more ventilation as well. Other than you just need to probably a mini build inside.
