  1. 1:12 Um wasn't that Windows 2000?

  2. It would be interesting if they would try Windows Vista as well, since they hopefully don't have a strong bias against it… They were even asking for vista features like the search bar. 😉

  3. Win xp user here! B75, i5 3470, gt710, atheros ar9220, m-disk dvd! Super-cool fast machine! Use it with old but cool photo-scanner, for photos, documents and old cd’s and dvd’s (yep I’ve got few). Browsing under supermium! Xp is super-usable nowadays!

  4. Yes! Windows XP was the best in that time ❤

  5. The nostalgia is real

  6. My first build, way back in 2001, ran a boot leg version of windows 2000 Pro. Back when you could get away with key generators. The first family computer ran 95. I have fond memories of playing games you had to install in dos.

  7. Compared to the insane hardware improvements since then. Windows actually did almost nothing of improvement, actually the core windows NT still the backbone of windows 11 today.

  8. I was born in 2002 but I still have fond memories of windows XP

  9. Maybe they are better as tools now. I learned the mindset what to use to navigate through the systems of today with those old devices. I guess they were like those toys where you put circle block through circle hole, and the other through the next one… But now it's too easy to just skip through so much.

I think win 98 was the best, and I didn't really get to bite on that so hard. I mean I was just a baby then. Someone showed me some basics years before "my" first pc. Because of dial up internet…
I barely used that pc. Still it had the coolest vibes. Floppy disks… I guess I had few of them, and there weren't anything I could use yet.
Maybe I couldn't even read yet.

Floppies, and use of multiple cds… lel

  10. Jesus christ im only 22 and i feel old asf

  11. I loved making music with fl studios back then, I'd say it was Windows XP that helped get me more interested in music because i enjoyed the OS also. The black and orange zune theme was my favorite and I loved using windowblinds to completely skin it with some ridiculous satanic theme haha😅 while I don't miss XP, I do miss alooot of the customizing you could do with it that's just not available at all in modern windows.

  12. I’m 22 and I started out on xp

  13. Give them a Dos Prompt or C64 Command (and some help, because not even I am that cruel).
They can use their 2400 baud modem to phone up a BBS and play Trade Wars :>

  14. 5:20 I guess so. But you can't get lossless audio from youtube mp3s.

  15. I liked Vista more than XP.

  16. Even though I'm 16 I used widows xp for 5 years

  17. That Elijsia person, really did someone not tell him he left some fair on his face shaving?! Is that on purpose?

  18. It's wild to me that this is a real video. To me xp isn't even that old

  19. oh windows xp.. i remember playing counter strike there

  20. Am I the only one who literally cringed at the guy bending the CD case while saying, "I'm trying not to break it…<crack>".
