I’m sorry, was iFixit your sponsor? You didn’t say the thing.
Hope to do this build before 2024 ends
Hearing them talk about how they'll be back to normal by August sure feels weird
9:12 That's a MythBusters reference from Adam Savage #MythBustersIntro
I thought it was pronounced "low key" which I thought was really cool.
I dont mind this.. but then again it's still a box rectangular box but still a box
Flipping the fan on the CPU cooler is just going to draw hot air in through the heat sink right? Or am I missing something?
This is sweet
I’ve now forced myself to do this build few months later after sourcing the rtx card. Here are my thoughts.
The finish is very poor to the point you can cut yourself when handling it. The advertised possibility to easily carry it is only for the people who wish to lose their fingers. It’s a very heavy rough cut thick aluminium which acts as a mass heat storage so cpu temps are high. Plastic base is cheap and ugly. Mine is throttling at full load reaching 100 deg Celsius using the “best” cooler solution by the case manufacturer – the one which makes the case almost impossible to close as the fit is so tight you need to remove the anti vibration rubber on a 120mm additional cup fan to make it fit. It’s also very loud at full load. There is no zip ties points and there’s surprisingly little room inside the case. I had better temps and could fit 3 ssd drives in a much much smaller case from Dan. Graphic card is not securely mounted as it does not have a release clip. All ports located at the bottom of the case as simply stupid and a pain to reach. There no way to use dust filters without turning this case into air frying machine – also the “best solution” cpu cooler simply will not allow to have enough room for the thinnest of dust sheets. What else… ah the on/off button falls apart each time you open the case on top of making cheap scratchy noise when pressed. I’m not sure how to use the provided usb port (only one came with my case) as it is usb-c female to usb-c male – maybe my motherboard does not have such feature. So another external usb splitter is needed for the easy of use. So overall what have I ended up with? – An ugly colour, heavy and hot, large but tiny inside case and I still have to keep the rest of my drives as external now plus usb port extension on top… and I need to dust the flat twice as often as before. I’ve spent 75usd on additional 3 fans to be able to put the outer shell on due to temperature inside – one fan is on top making it rather ugly looking. This case is a nightmare and should disappear from the market. Stay away. If you want a quality case check other options. This is a product from someone who has never build a pc. Yet alone small factor one. The designer is emailing people to buy this failed prototype at 50% discount but trust me you don’t want put your pc for days on end. It has taken me 2 days and I have been building pc’s my whole life. All those articles and yt reviews are biased. You have been warned.
wish Linus wouldn't defend/request cross (philips) screws instead of torx screws. cross screws are trash, and everybody using them isn't a good reason to use them. got the LTT screw driver as a gift and was kinda disappointed it was just slit/cross drivers in there. hate it when I get gifts and have to overplay disappointment.
ESL likely uses an Intel system of this build for pro league CSGO. They definitely use the case at least.
If anyone wants one of these they sell them for $159 atm. I guess they need money.
Funny enough Vr is about to happen. Jokes on you.
So wait Linus was just doxed on camera for his age
Silverstone ft03 was always my dream case
How to make a twash can PC XD.
VR Revolution When?
What the name of second case?
why no one is talking about how loud this case is? in person it sounds like vacuum cleaner 😢
The updated version of the case has a 140mm fan on top
The PSU choice isn't just because of the hardware iv had to grab the 750w Corsairs since the 450w for htpc.have gone extinct or cost $100 more then the 750w units.
I built the exact same thing but with 64gb 3600mhz and just swapped out the Zotac 3080 to a 4080 FE it’s amazing at the power in this case my 3D rendering is almost 50% faster and getting can max out my 1440p 240hz with the medium to high settings on MW2 glad I found this video and the case is 150 on Amazon
In my opinion all cases should use torx screws. Philips are well known for stripping and the screw driver slipping off and damaging things. Torx require no down pressure unlike a philips and that down pressure is what will damage something if it slips. Be aware also that there are metric philip screw drivers which have a different shape head.
Hey! I'm following this guide pretty closely, everything fits together well and the mobo is getting power but the psu (same one) won't turn on? Any suggestions? thanks!
For those watching this video, Louqe has cut the price in half for this case, you're welcome.
I have no idea why they wouldn't put a bit more holes in that thing and make the absolute perfect itx case.
750w for a 3080???
extremely impressed by this case. would definitely get if it wasn't so expensive (which is fair since its so well designed)
Does anyone else notice the exhaust fan isn't even spinning.
I really want this case in white.
I think high quality SFF PSUs should be the norm in ATX builds for that increase cable space.
Congrats! Without the case cover, you've built the Jotunn!
I really want to build the smallest pc that’s actually covered and is still pretty powerful. It’s a pipe dream, but hopefully one day….
I’m really surprised now owning this case how downright STUPID this design is. The case is heavy as hell – 3.2kg. The aluminium is way too thick. It’s not even a square which makes it look pretty odd. I’d rather have 2mm or less but more room inside. The card slot is too short and too narrow for anything other than 3 slot founders edition and good luck getting that. The lack of fan or any meaningful ventilation at the top of a case is a serious mistake. Very limited connectivity via 2 usb-c ports when your motherboard supports and provide extra cables. I’m not sure how many dongles would lose their wireless connection due to being located under the box. I still need to make a build to find out I guess I will need this Allen key which was not included with mine. Also ventilation slots are more of a design gimmicks rather than an actual vents – the area is simply small for what it could have been. The handle to carry it around is only good if you wish to cut your fingers off. Finish is pretty poor to be honest. And I’m saying all this after paying half price. Not really worth it. Not even at half the price for the compromises you have to accept.
7:39 Linus Was So About to say “David You Fired” Right there XD
GREAT VIDEO (even tho it’s a year old)
Not sure if this will get seen by someone who owns one but might as well ask. If I remove the top cover, could I fit a 340 mm xfx 6800 qick or would there still be framework blocking the space?
Torx is great, rarely strips when power scrowing.
5 years we still dont know if linus is old
could 3d print a fan bracket for the top of it. as a owner
I was really hoping to hear a cost comparison between the build and the one.
Stop bashing Torx. It is the future, it is better in every way.
That TUF 3080 has the same cooler as my TUF 3060 meaning its super cool and quiet and boosts super high
So funny laughed out loud 😂

Whenever i will get the urge to ditch my ghost s1 and it will happen, i might check this one out.
you compare Corsair to Louqe build quality? Corsair is crap.
me watching this thinking “just buy a h1 v2”
