Wish it had bigger battery with 26โ wheels.
I learned the beard way, and via old age and injuries; and I need shocks and really good ones at that.
Is it powerful enough to go up on a steep hill?
Is it easy to put it in unlimited mode?? Is it a mod you have to do or just the push of a button to put it in that mode??
I'd rather have dis ebike than a sur ron dat doesn't look like a ebike. Lok's more like a dirt ebike ๐ฏ๐UK London.
Hey Iโm not 100% sure to buy or not. Iโm not very tall. Can I ask you, how tall you are? Seat is 79 cm high so maybe Iโm not compatible ๐
Anybody having a problem with their ZX?
I need it
Cool!
Hey, DIY Ebike builder here.
Super73 is Overpriced and underpowered. Don't buy it! Do your research first.
You can find many other ebikes better than super73 for 1k. For instance from Alibaba or if you have time and patience to learn go DIY.
DIY will always be better in a way because you can have any bike the way you want, with the power and range you want but it is time consuming and have a learning curve.
Nice review man. Can you also review Ariel Rider X or maybe compare both e-bikes? I have eye on both of them.
Gotta play with electric unicycles next.
You were on the "storm grey" not the "moon rock" ZX.
This is great for RVer's. It is light enough to easily load and unload through the door of the RV
Overpriced and underpowered.
Ariel Rider X52 $2199 comes fully loaded.
How tall are you? That ebike looked small. I want a taller bike. I have a nakto pony w 20 inch wheels. I think i want bigger wheels. And more stature from the bike. Thinking of ariel but love super 73 style.
Check out the Rize Blade and Blade 2. They are releasing next month. Hopefully, depending on shipping.
I own a ZX and the R. Both are great, but definitely way overpriced. But to me itโs worth it because of how they look ๐ฅ
Do they come in various sizes, because the one you're on seems rather small for you? If I'm going to be paying upwards of $2600 CAD for an e-bike I damn well better not be dragging my knees on the pavement because of my large frame.
Ola S1 scooter 8.5kw motor, 3.97kw battery, 181km range. Price 1500$.

I like the design of the ZX, and the Super73 community is second to none. I'm glad that it's light weight, but the lack of suspension, fenders, light, AND gears make it seem rather stripped down.

Yes I was disappointed in this eBike review, I believe any ebike is better with an adjustable saddle height for proper leg extension while pedaling, and with the weight under 34 pounds, so it can be carried up and down stairs. With eBike theft rate climbing to the top of desirability for quick cash, even secure garages are becoming similar to theft prone community bike rooms making it a requirement to store your electric bicycle inside your living space.
Moped ebikes suck. Itโs not a bike and itโs not a moped.
Bought one and then got rid of it for two reasons. First I found i was getting about 25% less range than advertised. Then, it doesn't come with any accessories – most importantly lights. Which I understood when buying it, but they're all listed on the product page as "sold separately," so I figured I'd pick them up later. After months of trying to get Super73 to tell me where/when these promised accessories would be available, with absolutely no information or help, I gave up and sold it. Now drooling over all the other, more complete, longer range options out there for just a couple hundred bucks more. I was bummed, I wanted to stick with this thing for a few years and build it out, it was a super fun ride and I love the look, but just felt pretty disillusioned with how Super73 was addressing the issues. I assume it's a supply chain problem that's keeping them getting these accessories stocked? If you check out their EU website, the stock ZX actually comes with lights. But they just kept saying, 'oh, you just misunderstood, they might be available someday but we never said they would be.' Oh, got it, nice, thanks.
How much sir,
For the same price, an Ariel Rider has a way better value. Hydraulic brakes, lights, range, power, speed and all wheel drive. Itโs hard for Super to compete at their prices, thus why they are trying to tailor to Euro markets now.
Edit: oh and suspensions comes with the Ariel as well.

nice bike. hot commentator
Top speed?
Way too much money for so little. I can get a great mountain bike with 80 miles range and 25 mph for the same price…lame
Our "Lil Burro" Enduro comes with a 48v 20AH battery, 500w motor(upgradeable), full suspension and only $1999. Bike seats by default, moto style available. Add the optional 29AH and get 90+ miles on a charge! Time for affordable, everyday electric transportation.
Liking the price coming down on these e-bikes. It is strange to see a chain, versus a belt drive, I don't have any real reasoning behind that, other than a chain just seems problematic compared to a belt. At minimum there should be a suspension seat of sorts to help the ride quality, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
E-Bike Toxozers
Cornball.!
I want one bad just not for that price
๐๐๐
I'm curious how you lock it up outside
2 grand to go 20mph on a bicycle ….
eBikes…..someone tell me how riding an ebike will improve one's health
the lighter weight makes it more compatible with many rear trailer hitch bike racks that have a 60+ pound weight capacity but at the expense of the missing bike features.
too bad e-bikes like these are generally 10 to 20lbs above the recommended rear bike rack capacities.
It's funny how going 20 mph is considered ripping now ๐
Just when summer is over.
Great timing!
