Be careful using those compressed air cans around AIO's and radiators. You can freeze the coolant and if it hasnt thawed before you turn your PC back on, you can destroy your pump..

I feel like the amount of dust in my pc is kind of a trophy
The one thing you should really keepan eye on: cpu/gpu/psu heatsink. If those are filled with dust, your computer is fried.
I replace the thermal paste in my computer weekly whether it needs it or not.
I would like to add the minor cravat in thermal paste replacement. Some motherboard sockets when the thermal paste dries have a tendency to have the CPU cement to the cooler, which can do bad things to motherboard pins unless you're going straight up and down. Not saying don't do it. Just saying be careful to not twist and not apply lateral Force.

To be brutally honest, i would have expected to have an acutal answer with like every 6months with pets in the room or look at the dust buildup and clean every 12months the inside. Sadly the non-helpful Dad-Joke took precident, please Linus, educate people fully not just half the way. I know from watching you over almost 10 years you can do better.
Just had to repaste my GPU; due to overheating. It works great again.

Cleaning is overrated. The layers of dust on my PC are a window back through time; the apartments I've lived in, the pets I've owned, the kids I've had… a lot of memories in that dust.
I just got my PC in July and I had to open it in August to install a 2nd drive. I have dust covers on it so I'm probably good until January?

Havenβt replaced my thermal paste in nearly 6 years and still running at ok speeds and temps π
I clean my ntbs at least once a year. Thermal paste is usually fine, but the dust build up on heatsinks bothers me. I want the lowest temps.
I still used old pc with athlon x2 250, and GT 720
The temp CPU/GPU max load is 45Β°
PSU 380 watts π
But when the cpu full of dust it can reach 50Β° , i change the thermal paste.
