Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
There are a couple of typos at 3:24. It should read "Ryzen 7 7700X" and "4.5GHz." Sorry about that!
Yeah, I hate all of the sponsored crap these days. It's absolutely pathetic when a company pushes all of the sponsored crap on the consumer. I mean could you imagine if a youtube channel outright told you that lets say using an adblocker is the same a piracy when the channel has a ton of ads on it then has sponsored ads in the video then they also have the unmitigated gall to also plug their own cheap crap they're selling. That would be embarrassing.
Edit, timestamp 4:35 they're 3 for 3. Lol.
built my first pc with amazon and used a lot of overall picks. so far so good. spent about 1200 bucks that included 1440p monitor.
The point about SATA SSDs is the people with early AM4 board or an intel from the same age, because there is only one single m.2 slot, but 4 or 6 SATA ports avaliable, so if you want more SSD, Sata is the only way to go
I recently managed to build a PC that was near equal performance to both of these PCs for only roughly 780 something dollars. Mostly cause newegg was having 2 INSANE deals on a motherboard and RAM combo, as well as a 7600x that came with a free nvme drive. All these prices not on sale would have costed about 670 dollars but I managed to get them all for 360 dollars!
Bro literally built the pc I just built
Cool !
LTT should address the limits of 32-64GB of ram.
most viewers are probably hitting the 16-32GB limit that we were seeing back when 32-64GB was seen as extreme when most users were stuck on 4GB or the holly grail 4GB+.
32GB is very standard on mot high end computers, 64GB is nice, but once you start messing with ram disk an what not, 128GB that was "high end" back in the days seems like a joke.
You can get systems with 512-768GB ram for cheap throwing a 100-512GB ram disk as cache and still have the "recommended" 32-64GB ram is pretty easy if you actually care for more then gaming (as LTT has hinted too)
hosting a video server can take 2-64GB of ram, depending on how snappy you want the user experience to be.
thats why i love amd
"shift happens" lol
any E motherboards persoanlly i do not like
Bit and bytes only kella
Trust me bro to good luck bro ltt video
I’m pretty sure Amazons choice and overall pick are different

9:39 who made that flawless dub?! It actually looks as if Linus himself spoke in that deep, raspy voice! 🤯
Im literally lying on a hospital bed🎉😂❤
Dawid would like his concept back.
The 7700X runs hot, especially if you don't undervolt it, I can tell because I own one but man… 97º at 50% load must mean threre's something wrong in that build, probably thermal paste placing. It still beats the other build while thermal throttling tho
I'm struggling a tad with this and need to go back through .. But from the UK and of things the rtx 3060 is coming in around £229, where as the rd 7700 at is between £365 and £395.. As one example.. So maybe it doesn't work so well in other countries. if that makes sense.
Temps are crazy
So… anything i would say "derogatory" would be that 20-ish month ago I was matching "Shit show amalgam".
Hi! I’m curious what you guys do with all these pcs you build? Helped me build my first pc when I was in 8th grade watching your how too video ( I’m a junior in college now) . Great vid!
As far as the SATA vs NVMe "Best Overall" thing, it probably has to do with compatibility. Every single motherboard they are selling has internal SATA ports, but there's a chance there's no m.2, or the lanes assigned to the m.2 based on chipset aren't ideal. So while I understand NVMe is better for almost every new PC build, the Best Overall status still exists, since it could also be an update for an old family PC from 2014.
Linus Alzheimer Tips 😂
Any idea what software they use at 10:34 ?
What you search is very important. If you search "graphics card" you will get a different result than if you searched "12gb amd gpu"
im looking to upgrade my cpu i currently have ryzern 7 2700x, what would be a good upgrade for i was looking at a ryxen 7 5700 x i have a b450 mother board, will it be a good upgrade for, or should i go to a ryxen 7 7700, or even a ryzen 9 5800 . i do not want to go to liquid cool i like standard fans,.
Not gonna lie, i think the PC i just put together for my buddy is even better than either of these, for gaming. 5700x3D. Hyper 212 BE. Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite AX MicroATX. 32gb of gskill trident z ddr4 at 3600. 2.5 Tb of Crucial P3 plus M.2 SSD storage. Steel Legend 7800XT. Cooler Master 750 watt fully modular 80+ Gold PSU. all for $1140.81 USD
maybe an nvme drive is not the overall pick BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE CAN INSTALL ONE
How many times will you regurgitate this same video?
hi iam gonna build my pc do you guys wich video i should watch in the linustech channel?
Idk what the 50 series will cost, but I got a feeling I'm gonna be rocking with my 3080 for a while longer.
next, you should build a PC only of parts ChatGPT recommends
im scared of those crucial ssds i have burnt like 6 of them, ofc all them were 100gb
At least my pc is better than what amazon suggested
7700xt is superior to even the 4060. It's closer to a 4070.
This explains why as an amazonian myself I have packed multiples of this particular set up
Might as well watch a RTX3060 vs. 7700xt vid on YT. Then again you don't get to hear the word SEGWAY 3 times and get to see 2 different sponsor plugs…..
I kinda convinced at this point that in less you are going all out on a 4090 a AMD 7700XT or XTX sapphire is the best budget choice over any
Wow this is basically the PC I built 3 years ago except with an upgraded mobo and CPU
Now put this machine up against a base M4 Apple Mini for $599 US and see if the Apple doesn't smoke the thing
Yuh thats my exact psu
In non gaming scenarios, say for just day to day use, is the difference between 12ns latency ram and 10ns ram noticeable.
Or are those differences only really present when under heavy load?
My ROG Strix 3060 ran 1440p for 2 years and it never gave me any issues. It was amazing for me
10:03 Do I hear a horrible coil whine, or it's something else?
Building a PC entirely with Amazon’s 'Overall Pick' is such a wild concept! 😂 It’s like trusting a Magic 8-Ball for tech decisions.
Alienware Aurora r15 ryzen 7 9800x3d with rtx 5090. 😛🥴😋🫣😛😱😋😋😡😋😱😐🫤😲😋😯😛😯😋
amazon probably prefers the sata 2.5 inch for return rate reasons. since all 2.5 inch drives are sata, there's no compatibility issues. but with m.2, you'll have folks with a sata only m.2 slot trying to put an nvme drive in there and returning it.
you should have searched for mvne m.2 SSD and SAMSUNG
990 EVO SSD 1TB came up as overall pick
Am I missing something or wasn't Linus in some hot water or something?
