  1. At 12:53 we mistakenly spell "RTX 4080 Super" incorrectly. There is in fact NO Z in RTX. But there is TWO in RIZZ. Makes you think.

  2. "Merry christmas, now wait for your birthday machine" hahahaha

  3. we're trending baby

  4. Man, hearing 1440p being achievable at $800 is a hell of a thing.

  5. TIP: if you are shopping above mid range, it would be best to not get any GPU at the moment, unless you really have to, as new ones will be announced and released in a few months.

  6. I hate how I have to double my budget just to do any of these build because of Import Tax is so bad in my country.

  7. To be honest I'm not that impressed with Jawas used parts selection.

  8. 2:53 EVGA gets my money every time. They are such a nice bunch of people, they deserve my money. (their products are top notch, too)

  9. Start making interesting videos again, these tier lists are so over used

  10. In eu you could possibly get a build for this price with a 4070ti super at best

    a 4080 super is around 1500$
    the x870 pro is 300
    any nvme 2gb is 150
    9700x is 400

  11. Glad i got all this stuff before the vid, got the best pc build somewhat without the out of stock issues due to LTT coverage of such. 2nd hand 3080 tho saved 50% of the cost tho which is good.

  12. yeah nah, why buy a GPU when new ones are around the corner?

  13. And a screw driver with a couple thing to attach for 120$ yeah no it’s a scam

  14. Bro is so cringy!

  15. Sponsornya jawa rek 😂

  16. 10:24
Literally was watching this episode of south park last night

  17. can u actually stop using 500gb storage for your viewers to pick, u should know 1TB is bare minimum.

  18. Nice to see Linus is still parroting AMD's marketing. The whole future upgrade thing with AMD CPU's is AMD marketing created to claim Intel's new socket all the time is bad. New sockets for a CPU so a new motherboard isn't bad, it really is how a CPU upgrade should happen. By the time you should upgrade the CPU other features on motherboards have also advanced and if you do not upgrade the motherboard as well you are leaving features on the table. Gen 1 AM4 + NVME M.2? Was NVME even a thing when AM4 came out? PCI-E generation changes. RAM generation changes. USB changes. Audio. Wi-Fi, Ethernet… Many other things advance between when you guild a rig and when you should upgrade and AM4 gen 1 to latest has seen many changes making upgrading the motherboard as well needed. "upgrade path" in regards to AMD is marketing speak for buy a new CPU every year regardless if you need one or not. Proper upgrade is cycled by generations, skip 1 generation for the GPU and skip 2 for CPU for work machines, double the CPU skip for home machines is common. 4 years between CPU upgrades is always going to have other tech advancements the new CPU could leverage but the old motherboard cannot do. AM4 or 5 included in needing upgraded motherboards to go with the upgraded CPU.

Intel does a new socket every generation? Whatever. By the time I upgrade my CPU a new DDR and PCI-E is available so the motherboard will be changed too, the socket doesn't matter beyond making sure the cooler supports it.

  19. Best kinda buying guide and perfectly timed. Thanks LTT Team

  20. odin sake 9800 and 7800 now allready hard to get im so glad i got it at launch it sit in box infront of me im waiting for rx 8000 xt gpu or rtx 5070

  21. 0:17 am I the only heard Hubert J. Farnsworth?

  22. I agree that an APU, iGPU, integrated graphics gaming PC is a valid choice. I did that with mine and I was very happy with it then and am happy now that it's upgraded

  23. Linus please we need a gaming laptop guide

  24. I bought my 3060ti with an i5 9700f for 1100 pounds when pcs were up on price

  25. dude the 7700xt is around 500€

  26. Hello, world

  27. "Brand Name" is the most reputable and trustworthy PSU manufacturer out there!
    1:16

  28. Thank you so much for doing such a video again!
The last time was in like… 2019? And back then it helped me out immensely with determining how I should allocate my money when buying different parts and what parts are a good bang for the buck.

  29. Laptop next please, with some handheld PC for honorary mention…

  30. remember to cut 300-600 usd of your pc making budget for the peripherals if it is your first PC. I am stuck with a 3080ti and a 60hz monitor for the last 2 years. Don't be like me.

  31. I really appreciate the infographic using the 4090 as 100% and showing the comparative performance of the 4080 super and the 7900xtx as a portion of that. Really helps highlight how much more of a premium you're paying for such a small jump in performance, or in this case how much you save in total build cost for such a minimal 'sacrifice' in performance.

  32. None of these are 500$ pcs as none of them will run without windows

  33. for 6000 PC option? I need to upgrade this spring :/

  34. Hello, everyone ! 🌞😉👍
    Very good !

  35. It would nice if you did a video on workstations , everyone and their dog has a gaming PC youtube channel. Also it would be nice to see some cases that would fit normal HDDs as well as a 4090 , so workstation / AI workstation / room for actual storage not just M.2 or 2.5" , ive almost given up on your channel these days. Ive been a software engineer and building PC's longer than you but right now im having a tough time trying to find the right case for my next build…what I do know is i want it to last so its going to be Zen 5, 9900X, 32GB DDR5, 2x NVME drives, one for windows one for my work, a few internal backup drives + 1 3.5" HDD as just room to plonk random temporary junk that wont get caught in my backups

  36. You ain't doing much gaming on a 512GB drive. You might get 2 AAA games on there before you need to upgrade so I would add at least £150 to every PC for storage upgrades.

  37. Wait, so I won’t need to use an older cpu to update the bios on that msi b450m motherboard? Would it work for a ryzen 5 5500 out of box?

Gotta know for future reference since my younger sibling wants a budget pc strictly under 500 while being vr compatible.

  38. Man I live, Linus🖤🖤

  39. Just watch out, when you look for used GPU, i bought 2 3090 and both of which have some performance issues and noise issues. The second one works fine most of the time, just a bit loud (so nothing, i couldnt technically fix) but fortnite for example caps out at 80 fps no matter the settings and has occasional frame drops to 1-5 every 20 seconds.
