Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
im still sticking to amd cards
I was going to build a pc with rtx 4070 super which cost 600$ from Pny for 1440gaming . Fortunately i haven't done it yet , and now i can buy rtx 5070 at the same price to play in 4k gaming))
RIP Raw power increase advancements.
what everybody is forgetting about 12gb vram for the 5070 not being enough, is that it is enough if you don't play the very latest AAA high graphical games on extreme ultra settings in 4k. And the fact that people have different budgets.
Your Perspective is why I have watched your channel for 3 years…cheers, and here's to, 3 more!
I know people complain about the prices but you are given the time to save up the money for it and you have a job so it shouldn't put a big dent in your wallet right? I am single so i don't really have anything to spend on apart from food and transportation.
Finally? Yes finally time for people to waste money again. Do yourself a favour and buy a PlayStation5 👍
Ai trying to take the job of gpu power
I'm glad I upgraded in 2023 to a 4070 from a 2070. I got it at a decent price on black friday 2023, and I don't plan to upgrade for another 5-7 years. Hopefully by then they will pull back from AI as much and go back to proper raw power of GPU's. I'm not paying $1000 for fake "improvements".
i'm not gay but damn, ur hot.
So are they not going to release a 5080ti or super? Was gonna get one
PLEEEEASE do VR ingame fps comparisons for e.g. MS flight sim, not many channels do this.
I live in the US, and I am incredibly mad about these tariffs. What I hope to do is get a 5070 super on the first day they are available so that I can get a good gpu without having a 60% upcharge. I wish there was more info about when these tariffs are expected to start affecting pricing, but I just hope it takes a few weeks
Doing a build and probably going to try and get a used 4090. Might spring for the 5080 but I'm not sure yet. Depends how the secondary market for 4090 reacts
maybe in 20 years we can finally play 4k natively and reach good fps with all the bells and whistles
Yeah, i think a lot of ppl are grateful for this vid and i am in that pack for sure. 👍🏻👍🏻
I personally dont play many shooters so the discussion around smooth/felt frames is not for me but i am wholly on-board for recognizing the importance of marketing spin and hype with no evidence (yet).
Because the RT dream which was spun initially back since 2018 was murky at first, then became better and clearer (to be fair, most 'dreams' do)..
but we have definitely been here before 'in the hands of the leaders ' vizavi raytracing. And no surprise to see, the same amount of sensible consumer refrain should be exercised with regards DLSS4.
Its healthy for your wallet, and your peace of mind.
We have already come to see a fair amount of valid critique around the artefacting (even though we respect how clever the frame-gen IS).
Like most here, ny first reaction was : '12gb?' are you serious?
i agree with you here @PCCentric, you can have all the frame artifice you like, but recent titles like Indiana Jones have shown us the necessity for 16gb.
Sadly i have to concur, it feels like the 5070 is there to edge you towards the Ti.
However, it gets you thinking…. Why even have this as a strategy if you are making tech? Surely just put your resources elsewhere? Why manufacture something which (even though cheaper) is still not really quite good enough (in theory) for current and near future games?
Say what you like about someone like Apple, but they don't do this to customers (correct me if I'm wrong).
Computer graphics is a highly technical subject and in a way, i feel like there is a section of ppl who won't know enough, and will go and buy this 5070, and be disappointed.
Interesting news to hear about the DLSS4 injections into older titles though..
I'm sure that will be a minefield though…
and my order question might be .. given the state of (most) development studios) crunchtime, cut resources etc etc…. who would actually spend more time retrofitting their title to work more efficiently?
What the sh!t….. I'm still saving up for a 3 series
The RTX 6090 will use AI to trick FPS counters to show big numbers while improving nothing.
27 FPS on a 2000 dollar GPU, Get Hyped !!!
So are the old cards price gonna decrease?
Can't wait to hit stable 60 fps in Runescape 3, 4k, all ultra. Of course, outside the large towns, but still a bit step.
Every time I watch, I discover something new. This video shows that true success comes from understanding and adjusting our approach as we go.
Great vid centric, I agree with your point of view as well, As much as I'm happy with this new lineup, the overuse of AI term and frame generation instead of raw power is a bit of a red flag imo.
The brokie comments are worth the reading 📚 🤣 😄 😂
I will wait and see what AMD come up with before making a decision. 12GB of VRAM is taking the piss…
Want to see raw performance with no frame generation, I never use it on my 4090.
I WANT RASTER PERFORMANCE!!!
No BLURRRRRY DLSS FAKE Ray Tracing Frames BS in my $10,000 Command Centre Rig!!!
Jenson's next launch will be a Diamond Encrusted Leather Jacket
Stuck with Rx570 and seeing the 5070 budget king of the future😥😥
Built a 7800x3d & 7900xtx in May of 2023 not upgrading no time soon, I like when is enough enough?😂
I bought a prebuilt with a 4090 so I won’t even be thinking about a new GPU til the 8 or 9 series, at the earliest…
Excellent video as per usual.
Bad take on the vram
The AI gimmick to fake performance and further overcharge for cards. I can't stand this AI garbage personally. Corps all over it though as with any new gimmick they push to make even more money.
5070 should of defo had 16gb minimum. The 5080 should of had a bit more too imo.
people are angry , because of DLSS 4 A.I , but the this is the future.
I haven’t built a system since 2016 and I’m budgeting a new system currently and have my eyes set on a 5070 but like you said 12GB of VRAM is ridiculous so at a minimum I would need to get a Ti which means spending even more money 😢
4070 was a TERRIBLE card. And 5070 will have (according to NVIDIA picture) 20-30% better performance. So 5070 is basically 4070 super. Cheap card from recent gen.
So… 5070=4070S, 5070 TI=4080, 5080=20-35% better than 4080 with higher TDP. No, not excited at all.
And I'm telling you – it will be *storm in Internet after real tests.
Crying with gtx 1060
the 5070 wont come close to a 4090 a fools game
Let's copy-paste the marketingtexts of the 4000 series, replace the 4 with the 5 and we're off!
Great video, as always!
I'm excited to see the real FPS comparisons. I have a RX 7900 XTX which I got at a great price so I cant see my upgrading yet. But it's definitely going to mean the gap between console and PC will be huge in terms of what it can produce for the next few years.
I also have a small form factor case so i'm interested about the smaller sizes.
