I think it is time for the Nivia wall socket power cable.
I bet NVIDIA engineers perfectly know that but some managers want to save cost to get bonuses and just told them to make is as cheap as possible or something along that line
LOTCR
the issue with the gpu cable is the TERRIBLE connector design… I don't understand what was the problem with the old connectors….
I mean just crank the volt up if you hit the amp ceiling?
I usually watch the Wan Show on my 76" TV and about 50% of the time I watch other LTT video's on my TV. I watch Lex Friedman, Colin and Samir etc. and many other tech video's including Jays2cents and GamersNexus on my TV. My wife and daughter watch the Wan show with me on my TV the love Luke.
Re. GPU power issues maybe at the end of the day it was just another case of a poorly conceived design that won out on a simple costing basis. It wouldn't be the first time a choice was made based on whether something was more financially viable over technical concerns, especially if a company is so rich that they believe they could ride out any technical or brand collateral backlash. With that said you would imagine the PSU designers would put their hands up and say "this might be an issue..", unless small voice concerns were similarly side lined or half truths were used in discussions.
It's a shame cause the gamer Yatch would make a dope video series 30:13
The question is what was first there, the cooler or the PCB. I say the cooler was first and the PCB had to be made to fit the cooler. Design over Safety.
In regards to the copyright justice argument, the fact that copyright laws have destroyed people's lives just tells you how disproportionate they are. Unjust laws produce unjust results. That doesn't mean they must continue like this into the future for the sake "being fair" to the previous victims. That's ridiculous. I personally hope that AI development puts an end to copyright laws once and for all (and I'm speaking as a creator myself).
NVidia, fake frames, real flames.
1:26:46 Luke has said MULTIPLE times that he doesn't mind … but he was literally answering a question and the attention turned to Dan, if you don't mind Luke then I/we kinda do because there's no reason in a 2-4 hour podcast that you cannot answer in full sentences without a potential cut off
That Alex video was the straw that broke the camel's back on me finally checking out floatplane.
Trying not to hate but these shirts are ugly af – they make good products usually though
Tom Bombadil is the only part worth reading in LOTR!
The Hobbit (book) is pretty good, but LOTR books are so boring, the movies are OK, though disappointed the best part (Tom) was left out.
The esthetics of the merchandise are going down the drain. Those were some ugly shirts they were showing, especially the one Luke was wearing. Linus' one was the most acceptable of the lot, IMO. The 70's want their clothes back.
I won't see the video it's too long
if you are unable to complete a game challenge, maybe you dont need a high end game gpu.
The gaming yacht…the gyacht.
HE CALLED THE GUY!
Yacst news Yeah
All of the 5090's without per pin sensing should be withdrawn and redesigned. They are a fire hazard. For a $2500 card to have such a shoddy connector, with almost no headroom, is a disgrace. The card doesn't know if the cable is about to melt, and nor does the user. This is penny pinching stupidity that could get someone killed.
