I’m trying to build my first pc
3:20 and I remember when the new 60 series would get close to the last 80… Remember the 1060? The 2060?
So the good news. In germany there is exactly one 5070ti who is at the same price as a 4070ti Super. But only the 4070ti super is in stock. And all other 5070ti would be 25-50% more expensive. And that would not be worth it. I'm still running on a 3070ti, and it seems I will for a bit longer.
Only 20-25-30 frames more than my 4060Ti? HAHAHAHAHA
Imma keep my 3070 for now. Maybe next year when they launch the super series and the prices stabalize, I'll grab one.

Sharders from team green have not improved in performance in the last decade even 1% core per core and clock per clock, do the math… all they can do is add more cores and higher clocks, these cards are for improved tensor cores, tensor cores help with frame generation, you can cry fake frames but its a game… all the frames are fake… you can't even tell the difference other than it gets smoother, just fork over your cash or don't, gaming cards are now a smaller percentage of their income so why would they give you more? Now blackwell cards for a.i. are a huge improvement so… yea… wonder why it's sold out, not many chips made, they are all going to a.i.
i got a 4070ti for around 800 bucks something the year before this one a new card this card is not much better and cost way more because of hype would not buy it :/ i mean 5070 card serie
Now I'm waiting for the Nvidia rtx 7080 Ti super with 20gb vram that performs slightly better than the rage 128 pro.

Im running all AMD, 7800x3d and 7800xt and have had no issues at all and running amazingly, will stick with AMD

5080 is a lie, 5080 is actually 5090. 5070 Ti is 5080. 5070 is 5070 Ti (in price).

The Black Screening drivers aren't even limited to the new cards. they're throwing those drivers out to EVERYONE.
Running a 1050ti waiting to set up your new computer in a day or two? Nope NEW DRIVER TODAY… and now you get black screen randomly. Oh joy I am so glad I now have the drivers to play indiana jones or whatever else I wouldn't dream of playing on this in the next 1-2 days before I build my new computer, lol.
I bought the last EVGA 3070 when GPU's dipped in mid 2022 for $650 and I couldn't be more pleased with it's performance. While switching from a R9 280 had it's differences In how performance was drawn, the frame rate is incredible in most games. Now that I'm getting into game development though, I can see that a better card could help my time in blender. I'm torn on whether it's worth it to upgrade right now. The cheapest 5070 super is only listed at just over $1000 but it's performance is only 30-40% over the 3070. I have yet to play any title on ultra under 60fps. IS IT WORTH UPGRADING? I DON'T THINK SO…

I didn't go with Nvidea or AMD, i went with ARC Intel and the EXACT same thing is happening with ARC gpu's, NO STOCK?,..i never realised that Intel gpu's were so popular?
