Realistically their costs scales more from the compute unit so If they go for 500 or 525 it'd be fair
9070 xt is about to be ~1k$ in 5 days and barely in stock, watch it
The RTX 5080 is 30-50% faster in 4K with ray tracing, thanks to better RT cores and DLSS 4.
The RX 9070 XT is playable at 4K RT, but struggles without FSR 4 upscaling.

Honestly i'm using AMD cards since 2022 and i had less issues with software than on Nvidia. The most annoying things on teem green for me are constatntly dying overlay (because it wants to update) and constant resets of game quality settings into the stratosphere
Are they can beat nvdia like they beat intel?
Am I wierd to want a card with no dedicated hardware for ray tracing or AI? I just don't want to pay for features that I don't use.

The $50 difference seems like a psychological marketing trick. Did they intentionally manufacture less non-XT and more XT in the hope that customers will get attracted to the XT by the obviously higher specs at such a small price difference?
This reminds me of that scheme where they sell medium-sized popcorn buckets with a price very far from the small-sized but very close to the large-sized bucket.

$600 is a terrible price $50 more than the 7900 GRE and it's a next generation GPU.
If they wanted to get ahead of Nvidia the price would have needed to be at-least $500 for the 9070 XT.

If i can be sure that FSR 4.0 upscaling is on par with DLSS in term of image quality (i dont care about frame gen), i'm buying a 9070XT to replace my 3070 this summer.
