multiple desktops, some obsolete but still working so kept around as backups, some laptops and tablets and cellphones in the household. will move from a flat to a small house in a year or so, got a bunch of external and internal hard drives and even few hundred of cds and dvds which have not been checked for a decade or so /as most is on hdds or obsolete with replaced newer data/…and with the house security system with night vision capable cameras will have to be managed…. will want to consolidate all that, thinking of a half rack on wheels, ups on the bottom, nas above 12-16 22/24TB drives with redundancy for some 150TB netto space, either minipc or mini server for video surveillance and automated backups /llm AI assistant/ and some ssd based fast access nas for hot data – something like asus flashstore from a bunch of consumer m.2s or if prices become affordable maybe something small in size but big in capacity with U.2 drives ….now only time to put it all together and the pocket change of some 20k+ /mostly storage and home media and surveillance server/

My knowledge on real fine technical things with pc suck I can build one and install drivers and that’s it. I got a new gpu (ASUS tuff 5070oc) and now when my pc is turned off after being powered off it will do the windows loading screen and then give me the infinite black screen. I found a temporary fix but idk why it keeps doing it any help? Please

The shipping container one is actually really pragmatic. Datacenters should take some notes. Super easy to deploy, transport, and dismantle.
I know maybe not the right Video, but did you guys ever thought about testing the programm process Lasso in combination with x3d cores? So many People on Reddit keep saying its so much better. But nI can only find like a few Videos with actual FPS charts and they mostly used Intel CPUs. Would be great if you can help out :).

Insider info here, 90% of home-lab enthusiasts just build this stuff to stare at it and blow rope, like if its neat and clean, it doesn't actually do anything but look good.

13:11 Anyone know what server rack that is? I genuinely wanted to get one about that size and get a 4 U PC case stick it in there and then stick another 4U with my old PC hardware reconfigured as an unraid server before I got my current setup going but id still be down to get a rack that size for…. stuff if anyone knows one that size. Most of the ones I looked into didn't have a front panel and I have a hairy dog so thats a factor too.

My old pc is my server now. Mostly controlled with parsec. But i cant really decide what to do with it other than offload work from my main pc while gaming.

) too much. I keep working on Intune for macOS when I'm supposed to be doing Intune for iOS 
But iOS has been endless scripting building a custom solution, because the built in capabilities are just not enough for our needs for 23,000 iPads
