20:00 man i feel like no 9000 series cpu should be bottlenecking at all.. im starting to lose faith in pc gaming, the micro stutters on games and pc component prices are just pissing me off.. could get a 9800x3d and rtx 5080 for tons of money and still get stutters or run out of vram -.-

I think there's still a few things I need to iron out but I'm enjoying games at ultra settings with over 120fps so can't complain!
9070XT is the best card for value in 2025. You can buy 2 for the cost of a 5080 and 5080 is definitely not worth double the price of a 9070XT. Shame on Nvidia for being so damn greedy.
I also have a 9070xt and am looking st 4k 240hz oleds. Does 1440p on these monitors look decent? I've been told it doesn't scale properly on 1440p
so that's where the exact card i've been trying to buy went….a youtuber got it :/

I built my new PC last week exactly with a 9070xt (XFX Quicksilver) and a 9700x. Coming from a 1660ti it's a REALLY big improvement, I feel like I can play any game I want and the GPU doesn't even break a sweat!
I wonder if the spiffing brit approves!
Honestly, the only Ray Tracing I notice in Cyberpunk is the ray traced reflections. The rest is really subtle. I then add FSR Native AA and the image is super crisp.
I can't wait to get this card, I'm still using the 1660 ti !!!

That case is exactly same size as my corsair rgb 220t airflow mid case,housing my 5950x/EVGA 3090.Too small if i buy a 5090 never built a PC will have to if I upgrade,does the job great though as this fine video shows with the 9070xt.
how's AMD 5 9600X with the 9070 XT at 1440p
I'm still kinda bummed I drove 3 hours to a microcenter straight after work (I leave for work at 4 am and didn't get home from microcenter until 8:30 pm
) and they had just sold out of the 9070xt's like an hour prior and they only had less than 10 regular 9070's. I ended up getting a powercolor hellhound 9070 for just a bit past $600, so a bit more expensive than the base card's MSRP, but that's just powercolor charging more for their OC set up and yada yada yada.. That being said, the non XT is still crushing all the games I play (mainly RPGs like BG3, KCD2, Cyberpunk 2077, etc). I can max out my 180hz monitor in everything except Cyberpunk (no shit) with max settings and no upscaling. When you can use FSR4, it's really good. Imo, just as good if not sometimes better than DLSS from Nvidia. The base card has been doing well enough that I'm not really pressed on driving the 3 hours to try to return my base card for a XT model, and I learned the base only loses like 10-15% on performance but draws around 100 watts less power, so in terms of frames per watt, the base card is actually more efficient. I know nobody really cares, they just want more performance, but hey.

The only thing that is perfectly balanced are Castle Wars in Runescape, 4k, all ultra, but sadly this machine cannot run it at stable FPS.
At 4k in rathet and clank the fps is not that high unless he turned on frame gen another instance where you simply cannot trust anynody on youtube who is being sponsored. Not once did he mention the us eof frame gen or that Ratchet and clank is currently unstable using the 9070xt

A 1440p performing PC and a 1440p monitor (preferably 27 inch) will work better for gaming than 4K and without breaking the bank so this build would be great for that
For now i am still using rx 580 in my rig and i am happy

Hey Marcus, I have an issue where I am experiencing warm boot (PC resets) hangs with my ASUS TUF 850 Plus. Got the TUF Gaming 9070 XT, Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Cold boots are 100%. Fresh windows installed, One SSD, No bios settings changed (EXPO disabled). any idea what can cause this? When I Cold boot and it start, everything runs 100%. Tried many different troubleshooting things, but to no avail. still hangs when performing a restart or when pressing the power button, and the PSU was not completely unplugged.
Why 9700x bottlenecking so hard in cyberpunk 2077? Without RT gpu only at 130watts?
Am I mistaken or ASUS Prime LC 360 would also fit in this case?
