The “million-dollar PC” isn’t just powerful—it’s practically a space heater. With 9 servers pushing 7-8kW of heat, the LTT server room needed a serious cooling upgrade. The team went from cardboard ducts and salvaged towers to crafting a custom “water door” using old radiators, barbs, and a whole lot of trial and error. Will it leak? Will it work? Let’s find out.

Trust and believe.
Nvidia and AMD do NOT tell us that it's up to us to integrate our own Scalers. That is why 32 GB cards Fail 8k. So the new FORMULA for gaming rigs is now CPU GPU and Scaler."
You guys should try ac or car fans for the server radiators
There's a good reason people use pipe cutters 😂
11:30 its like seeing gorgie and sheldon working together
can you guys please hire a plumber so at least someone has some shame doing this stuff
Well if you guys can keep making money, I guess there is hope for America…..
Half of this video is inside the server room. And they're talking.
My ears are bleeding and I couldn't even finish the whole thing.
This is like watching the Special Olympics.
More server room videos please!!
Can you just use an entire car radiator including the fan to cool your server?
SWEAT THE OLD FITTING OFF!!!

If it wasn't jank, it wouldn't be fun to watch.. So many profesh types having an aneurysm over here.
As an thermographer using Flir cameras daily I cringe almost every time they use that T 1020 because I can clearly see they don't know the full functionality of such an awesome peace of technology.

I would love to see you putting out LLM models to run locally as high as openai claude or gemini models with unlimited tokens. I wonder how many gpus do I need to achieve it? Can be a good tricky video for LTT
11:22 the first time Linus has ever been called large.
Impressive hacking. When everyone is using the same thing a little hacking can give you the custom edge luxury.
Standing next to a rack that sounds like a jet taking off: "We might need to add fans"
Jack you're looking amazing man
Twelve thousand BTUs of RAW cooling power, Jerry!
All this is very entertaining and so, but for god's sake, just put all this in a closed room with a couple of mediocre AC s. Thats enough, really.
What about a couple of car radiators strapped to the door?
15:06 ahh cracked 3d printer part. I waiting "Cooling system failed and ruined our server rack" video 👀
I've built a couple of rack systems, to me those fans are screaming for help. The only time i ever heard such was when the AC failed one evening. Came in on the morning to hear that sound. Fixed the AC and back to a reasonable level. Don't think you are doing anything good hear really… sorry.
I think the fans are hurting the performance. When fans are pulling fast air it might not have enough contact with the heat exchanger to get cooled down that might be the cause for hot air right behind the fans.
I mean. Is the idea to stop the room from getting too hot or cool the server? If it's the server I'd put the rads as an intake personally.
13:30 "I don't know if I would bet anything on it" proceeds to create this cooling system for a multi million dollar server/warehouse set up
This is a perfect opportunity for a collaboration With DIY Perks in episode 2. He could turn the extra heat into a spaceship. Or the world's largest gaming console! At least cut a hole in the door so that it does not restrict the radiator.
Looking forward to inevitable "I flooded my Labs Server-Room"-video
Use big fans, like car radiator fan
Absolutely love these kind of videos, hope to see more like it soon
