To be fair, in Malaysia, most tech stuff is usually 20-30% more expensive. A laptop for example, that would cost 999$ in the US would be 1300$ in Malaysia, so the GPUs being 20% more expensive is normal.

Multiple one brand shop is owned by the same owner. They might have a main store (that sells everything) and multiple one brand shop (Asus, hp, razer, etc).
They have cards in stock linus cant review because they dont exist xD nice XD
When a store do not have what you want they will recommend you to go to their competitor , no heart feeling .

before plaza lowyat it has to be imbi plaza, and the sri computer had been there more than 20 year. I have been there in the year 2000. my first pc i bought on this plaza was AMD athlon using socket A. custom pc i build it myself. on those year it called clone pc.
one of the reasons they will send you to other competitor store is because that place have the same distributor. believe me if a few stores dont have the item, the whole building dont have it
I used to called it "Lubuk Kena Kencing".. only Pros will go top floors to get actual prices and better quality.

Like any South East Asia IT shopping mall, the real goodies are ALWAYS found on the top few floors.
The shops on the first 1-3 floors are typically for unsuspecting tourists. Or maybe I'm just ranting about Sim Lim Square.

So the 5090 can be lower in price if you bargain for it.
I've negotiated to have a drop in price and get free additional ram when I bought my laptop here.
Just avoid the small stall or shops that tries to scam you.
