  1. and another senseless build just to please a sponsor. money's tight right now?

  2. Why not do a compressor condenser cooling system but then oil bath it to rid any condensation.

  3. that'd be great if your gpu had fans too.

  4. Running AC is gonna spike your power usage way up though. As a cheapskate who doesn't use AC in my house (I live in the tropics) but instead uses an array of carefully arranged push/pull window intake/exhaust fans, I have much lower power bills than my neighbours who all use AC. Sure, my house isn't AC-level cold, but who needs that? I wear a jacket in my office because the AC is cold, that's fucking stupid. It should just be cool enough so that you can walk around in regular clothes. Same here, you don't need your PC running at sub-zero ambient or whatever. As long as you can get a permanent breeze moving the hot air away from the components that should be decent enough for almost every regular use case.

I feel like a huge side case fan would do the trick. Constant airflow pushing the hot air out should keep temps manageable.

  5. 1:43 Sorry Linus. What? What about your balls???

  6. I got a portable AC last year. Before that I was always under the impression that those things didn't work. Man … the thing is an absolute live safer. Mine is pretty loud though. But I rather have a loud fan in my room than have it be 30+ degrees with 100% humidity in the Netherlands where bascially no one has AC

  7. Weird, I picked up Valheim randomly again like 2 weeks ago and then all of a sudden I see it in a LTT video…I mean, as far as I remember, I did just pick it up randomly. I don't remember seeing anything that would subconsciously get me to check it out beforehand…

  8. Jay doing this for long long time so…

  9. Timing on this is impeccable, I'm looking at AC options for my room and this gives me ideas 😂

  10. Where Jay

  11. Linus should partner up with an AC company and a case manufacturer and have them mount a window unit and a room unit for central AC systems to a case directly.
Condensation will not be an issue because AC Air is already super dry from being cooled down. That is why a foggy car window clears up even faster with AC set to max cooling.
And just like in a car, you can leave the fan on for 5 minutes after use so the temps can normalize without moisture building up.

  12. Not first ever I can verify I did this to a pc370 flip chip pc back in 99… And I did so because I had a buddy that also did so before me. Still cool though…. Get it COOL!

  13. Insulated Case? Cooler Case?

  14. 1:45 vasectomie confirmed

  15. I was thinking, what if make a case in which there will be a closed air flow loop, it will be cooled through a liquid radiator inside the case. the outside air and the inside of the case will not mix. we will get a system that will not get dust, or maybe liquid. the internal radiator can be cooled with anything, even just another radiator outside, then you can only wash it, and not all computer components.

  16. what about a cheaper solution like i cannot afford 2 AC in my room for cooling my pc and even good air cooling cost more in a pc so for a person like a student remove all the fans from a pc and remove the side panel and just strap a exhaust fan to the pc and the noise problem just wear noise canceling headphone when not using pc in heavy workload like for rendering will that work just an affordable fan which wont fail cause they give pretty good warranty on like cooler fans exhaust fans with high rpm not table fans or something cheap like anything dont care about how my pc looks i spend 90 percent of time looking at a monitor so i got the cheapest case for my pc and put a decent budget on the monitor. anyone smart could suggest something to me ? anyway(sorry for my bad english )

  17. Danger to intake manifold may be an upcoming error for pc enthusiasts

  18. Am I the only one who isn't that thrilled by Linus seemingly being thrilled by the CPU sitting at "Anywhere from 11 to 14 degrees"….. while at less than 20% load?

  19. the real problem, our hardware is stuupidly inefficent, producing so much heat… DO SOMETHING! 😀

  20. Please do a part 2 with all those changes you talked about at the end

  21. "Safety advice from linus may not be safe", got it thanks 🤣

  22. whats the playlist called ?

  23. Single hose portable air conditioners are disgustingly inefficient and worse at cooling a room

  24. This might actually be viable for folks living in the tropics where airconditioners are abundant
