Given how much money NVIDIA is making from AI and workstation and pro GPUs and how they are able to sell basically every such card they make, why do they even bother with consumer GPUs? Surely if you looked at a wafer of GeForce GPUs, that same (limited availability) wafer could be more profitable if it was turned into AI GPUs or something…
Google has made this show unwatchable. There's an add every 3 minutes whenever their stupid AI detects a cliffhanger. It's horrible! Please, go back to letting creators choose their ad breaks, preferably between topics….
Growing up in South Asia, I didn't have the means to afford games that cost $60 apiece. That early exposure fostered a deep love for gaming that shaped who I am today.
I earn a high income and i can buy the games I love and understand and advocate for the developers behind them. Without tat early access and the love i developed for it, at best, I might have ended up stuck in the ecosystem of exploitative mobile gacha games and it extends to my kids and generations ahead
You may complain, you may tell users that what these companies are doing is wrong, and the masses will still buy it. Nobody cares anymore. Voting with your wallet does not work. It won't get better. I'm so black pilled on tech and gaming right now. Good thing I'm also into F1 and WH40k, so I won't run out of hobbies any time soon.

In the English speaking world in England we definitely pronounce Nestlé the way Linus dose. Ive never heard that other pronunciation before.

I'd be somewhat careful if you separate gforce off, then you run the risk of it being dismantled if the profitability is too low.

Yeah I have a pixel 8 pro and the only reason is money lol
I preordered it because it came with the pixel watch 2, which I sold to someone to offset the cost of it.
I prefer Samsung Android, but it was more money at the time since I sold off the watch.
Pixel gets way faster OS updates though (I like testing things). I reset my phone a few months ago because of some minor annoyances (the software got worse over time) and the reset fixed a bunch. Going to android 16 beta this week actually fixed some more (fingerprint sensor). Lol
The Pixel 8 pro was one of two times I've ever preordered phones. I usually upgrade every 2 years because the battery goes to poop but so far the 8 pro battery is still holding up.
Is anyone even caring about GTA6 anymore? Even if they used pipeline development they still would be having to implement things invented long after the start of their development later in the project. DLSS and real time raytracing didn't even exist when they started. It's already an outdated game with other stuff added later to it. The trailer looks like a PS4 game at best. The best thing they could do is something trolly like next 26th, release a new trailer with a new release date, and then stealth drop the game. Imagine the insanity, the scrambeling, the people rushing out to get ot for FOMO?It would replace a highest first day sales with a 10 year consistant sales run. The game sales would live on hype, meme, and the level of trolling, and become a myth in of itself.

I think its probably a lot harder than "just separate geforce from the rest", I think all the AI research that goes into geforce like DLSS and neural rendering probably requires a lot of cooperation between teams that work on the GPUs and whatever the fuck else teams are involved with this stuff, I don't know much about this stuff but they probably have a lot of reasons to keep everything under one umbrella.

Nintendo just joined the software subscription model that other game manufacturers do. Nothing surprising when you lead the video game market. XBOX and PS will convert eventually.

I'm convinced that "rumor" YouTubers sources are sometimes actually from Nvidia, AMDs, and Intel's marketing departments. They can just seed a few small things to get some legitimacy and then start seeding insane crap like Intel is cancelling their GPUs, AMD is going to be better next Gen, etc etc.

I just want to clarify when it comes to KitKats, they were originally Briitsh owned and manufactured by Rowntree but then got acquired by Nestle giving them the rights to KitKat. Hersheys has a manopoly in the US in which they had licencing rights to many British candys such as Cadburys and Rowntree, therefore Hersheys make the KitKats for the US market. Essentially Hersheys monopoly is the reason why majority of American confectionary is god awful
