Awesome Tips Nintendo Switch 2 Review – a PC Gamer’s Perspective

The Nintendo Switch 2 is here! And so is a new hole in my wallet. It boasts a stunning HDR screen, premium build, and significant performance leap with double the CPU cores, triple the RAM, and ten times the graphics – if you can believe Nvidia. While “miracle ports” shine and upgraded games look great, Joy-Cons still drift. The $80 game price and LCD screen are drawbacks, but the 120Hz refresh rate and potential for remote gaming are exciting. Should you buy one?

HUGE thank you to both Good Vibes Gaming and Digital Foundry for allowing us to use some of their footage. Definitely check out both of them for some EXCELLENT deeper dives on Switch 2 performance.

  2. how much did they pay you guys to glaze them

  3. This review is embarrassing.

  4. Don't forget the expensive new add-on memory card spec in that $919.96 total.

  5. So over mediocre console where nintendo cares less and less for theirbfans and community and want to take away ownership from you. I'll stick to anything else besides switch 2 thank you

  6. I explained the own nothing be happy angle Nintendo applied to the Switch 2 to my kids…. they're okay with not having one.

  7. I think the main issue for the switch 2 right now is simply lack of any interesting NEW games. Mario Kart world seems like a nice game, but not 80$ kind of nice… which is why I got the base switch model without it. Personally, to me, I just wanted to replay TOTK with 4K HDR 60 FPS and got exactly that. I am loving it so far and I'm excited for the upcoming donkey kong and Metroid prime 4 (which will cost 70$, btw, not 80$, which is still a lot). So to me it's worth it. But I think that for most people, it's just a question of the game library. If you never had a switch and now want to jump in, this system is great as the increased performance makes many existing switch 1 games now play with stable framerate and performance, even without any "upgrade pack"

  8. rubbish company rubbish games rubbish console

  9. Edit: nevermind it is – its just Nintendoed in the Nintendo Online app. If you go to the store via browser they still charge 10.00
Hm, David says the Zelda BotW and Tears Switch2 upgrades are included with the Switch Online + expansion sub, is that correct? Here in Europe it doesn't seem to be included.

  10. The fact that they didn't fix joycon drift. I'm just lost for words.

  11. 12:42 Nintendo ecosystem is so bad, it's like Apple. Idk why people still supporting them. lmao

  12. $600 to play Arkham city at 30 fps WOOOOO

  13. 12:57
I just bought a switch lite and it comes next week. I want games cards and not downloads.

  14. It's a no go. The question should be, do parents see enough for their kids to upgrade to this? The answer is nope.

  15. This is such a complete shilling for Nintendo…

  16. such a nice infomercial

  17. What’s your Basically saying I hear is don’t get a Nintendo still:D

  18. To praise the new console that is 2 or 3 times better than the previous one launched 8 years ago plus way more expensive, should not be an argument for no one to buy it.

  19. My 7 and 11 year old boys still play TF2. Let’s just say that “I am the captain now” with anything Nintendo.

  20. Still feels like a toy to me compared to pc handhelds. This is the most uncomfortable handheld I have ever held. I can’t wait for third party controllers.

  21. The "not really a physical copy" physical copy isn't just a stupid idea, it's a terrible waste of resources and contributor to environmental impact.
I'm not sure their perceived need to increase game prices works as an argument either in the age of digital distribution — "per unit" costs don't really have the same impact when you're just dealing with infinitely replicable computer data.

  22. the battery life is bugged on the switch 2 currently, there is a small work around.

  23. 8:26 David no, the current publisher of Disco Elysium doesn't deserve your money, they kicked the original devs out and took over the company

Please pirate Disco Elysium, it's morally correct to pirate Disco Elysium
