how is this compared to thorn?
Every mice I disassembled had much thicker ribbon cables, wtf Pulsar. This is the lowest quality one.
If it means anything pulsar and you read this, I specifically bought the mouse just because of this review and the honesty
I think we're at the point now where everybody understands and nothing is perfect. But for me I really think the shape is going to be a lot of fun

Zywoo puts his wrist on the top-rear of the mouse instead of the mousepad, that's why the shape kinda feels odd for those using it the standard way.
i changed the weight like 3 times, didnt have to deinstall the cables yet. Just open it and slide it to the side, insert weight, DONE!
So itās a terrible mouse, gotcha. Mouse comes with literal instructions to be taken apart and then they go with terrible connectors..
More weight has no benefit for tactical shooters. More weight just adds more inertia which makes micro adjustments harder. We already know pros don't always know what's best for them.

Pulsar shipping time is dog shit
Pulsar had forgot the basics of product design: never let consumers touch the internals. Endgame Gear did a better job as they used the good old JST connectors instead of ribbon cables, but even then, the room for consumers ruining the mouse that way is still incredibly high. Also the design of the switch PCB is downright moronic… Who attaches the ribbon cable directly into the pcb – that's just warranty headache and complaints all baked into one.

I have a medium and all seems fine so far. I personally don't see the need for the additional weight. In terms of Pulsar QC, I have had about five or six and the only one that had an issue was an Xlite V3es which had a faulty battery. Touch wood all is good with the ZywOo, as so far I really like it.
im soo disapointed. i ordered the small and medium. Small comes with double click issue on the left and medium has this problem that when i sometimes shoot ingame (ping is bind to mousewheel in valorant) it sometimes activates the scrollwheel

If they made adding the weight feature of the mouse it's valid to judge the mouse based on the ribbon cable breaking. Such an underdeveloped and not user friendly feature in my opinion.
I've opened and closed so many mice. Is this one really easier to break with the cable? Just wondering.
I think this is even more of an indication of poor engineering.
I think the moment you expect a cutomer to open up your mouse you NEED to make the mouse in a way that the end user cannot damage it.
The fact that they rely on these ribbin cables speak volumes of their engineering process to me.

Ribbon cables really aren't that fragile. Depends on manufacturer but I ran a workshop for a few years servicing Macs and PC laptops… keyboards usually use ribbon cables and frankly speaking I've never broken one.
That said, I've seen fragile ribbons in cheaper gear/mobile devices and the ribbon cables in the Pulsar may just be fragile. Why they would give people take apart instructions and install cheap cables? I have no idea.

If a new current year mouse releases especially a higher cost model and it doesn't have hot swappable mouse switches then it's a big fail.
By comparison my relatively humble (in price terms only) Endgame Gear OP1 mouse has hot swappable mouse switches and it only cost me around Ā£50; it is flawless in every respect.
Spendy signature gear needs to compete to avoid being a total ripoff. Endgame also wins the software/setup game. Pulsar you can do better.

do you absolutely have to detach the ribbon cable to install the weight? if yes that's just idiotic…we've known of ways to add weights on mice for 20 years now and accidentally breaking your mouse to do it wasn't part of it
