tbh we've been practicing this in China for years already with both mac and iphones and ipads, it's just that chip price these days is doubled to what they were a year ago (like soldering a 2t ssd used to be like just over RMB1000 but now it's RMB2400, which is like from USD150 all the way to USD330).
