Left my first ever iphone last week iphone 13 pro max i got it in January 2022. That is my first and last iphone it was torture 😂 got a A grade samsung galaxy s23 ultra it was better in every way over my iphone anyway so no point wasting money on a new s25 ultra also i want bluetooth spen and s25 ultra do not have it. Good to be free from apple never again.

This is pretty interesting because when you go from a red magic phone then you will be super impressed by cameras on the iphone but from like a s23 ultra youll be like well its slightly better but not amazing and thats all due to the fact your comparing a new phone to a older one
Im suprised they didnt gave them a choice in the older generation since linus said themself its better to buy older flagship than newer budget option

I know they learned a lot by doing the "make iOS users switch to Android" and made improvements to this video but it's so unfair that the people who were on the Android challenge did not get a budget and accessories to match it.

I was an apple fan boiii since like 14 or so. First device was iPod Touch 4G 8gb, then iPad 2 16gb + 3G (both were most recent ones for it's time) but I am not in US and I wasn't in apple's ecosystem at all. At my place all devices were full price only, region free, without any creedit stuff.
Just to understand I switched to iPod from Nokia 6233 or 5130 (don't remember which one was last) so it wasn't fancy Symbian or anything but I already was shocked about many things like I can't just transfer files freely, I have to 'actiavte' device and a lot, a lot of other crap which was new for me but I 'got used' to this + jailbreak made it way better, not just 'free ipas' but iFile, AV Player and iFunBox made it much more usable and all these small inconviniences were fine but then – iOS7 came out. I was shocked, a lot of friends around, calssmates had iPhones, iPads and literally each device started to work like shit. iPad 3 started to work like shit, just everything around and you wasn't able to go back. My family also had an iPad 4 which was on iOS 6 and never was updated – it worked so great compared to all other devices which got updates. Even iPhone SE which family member got wasn't that nice to use compared to this iPad 4 on iOS 6. And quite fast ios 6 started to be unsuable, iPod got sold (it's ram was a big issue even during purchase), iPad 2 was fine but despite of iPad 2 or 4 more and more apps refused to work on that old firmware. For now it's understandable, low hardware but not back in the days. Mostly it was artificial way to not allow you download something, make it as hard as possible to use on your ios version. Again the jailbreak helped a lot.
When time came I just bought myself an Android phone and I am stick with that till now, I just don't want a device which limits me that much. Honsetly Android becomes worse and goes to the same direction but it's still a better option for me. Stupid position which changes nothing because apple got more users, more sales despite of my position but I am just never their customer again)
Sooooo when swapping people to android you only provide a phone option but with apple you give them more….. riiiight very fair test… should of just done phone for phone…..
Tbh if to experience a Apple products to the "full" you have to buy more of them, it's already a minus in my book. I only use phone and PC, I wouldn't mind switching the phone, but there is no way I would abandon my PC for a mac
i love how i can connect my retro sound system to a normal PC but my imac needs specialized apple products to work with it -.-'

As one that has active use for both an iPhone and a Samsung recent model, I will just say that switching over the muscle memory from certain processes one does will take time and effort.
Especially with how Apple apparently doesn't actually have any plans to have a universal back gesture or button layout.
I mean it's enough if you let them keep their iPhones but ask them to forego the mandatory range of support devices: a MacBook, Apple Watch and/or paid iCloud extension. It becomes a real pain.
It's kind of as if – to get your cool electric car working – you also had to buy a bundled house and a lease land from same company.
