I went on a mice rabbit hole because my friends made fun of me for buying a Logitech 305, And after doing a ton of research I decided to buy the kysona 600, and if I stopped there I would have been so happy but now I also own three… 4 now…Pulsar mice, and x2v2, an x2h, x2 Crazylight, v3 and a feinmann…. and I know that sounds bad but the biggest thing that convinced me to get all of them was to really determine if they're worth spending the money on compared to the cheap $40 kysona… the x2v2 for the $50(from a refurbished company….. i did get the 4k dongle purchase separate, but i again purchased from a reseller for 15 ) definitely 100+20 for the x2h v3 with 8k dongle (no discounton any of the parts that time) …. kinda… the hand shaped is different but the switches dont feel as nice… but they are supposed to last longer.. the x2 crazylight for 103 (was a bought with a huge discount during Amazon sale) ABSOLUTELY battery is small and if you game at 8 k ot even 4 k youll need to charger every 3 or 4 days… but it comes with the 8k dongle in package already set up. The feinmann… 143… the most ive ever spent on a mouse…. again purchased during an Amazon sail… this mouse fits my hand like a glove the ergo shape is absolutely perfectly and its a size yhey dont offer with any mouse, magnesium mice just feel like a game changer even against good plastic ones, and the swithes… i want to put them in every mice i own now i would never buy this mouse for the original listed prices of 179.95… so 180… I'm so tempted to buy a second one in case my first one ever breaks thats just how perfect it is… feels almost as light as the crazy litte… 44 gm vs 36 with the origin skates on the feimann and the dot skates on the cl
Hell no to this overpriced sh*tshow mouse.
I bought my Razer Viper Ultimate in 2021 on sale on ama for just 69,99 EUR. The Deathadder v4 pro rn is 179,- EUR (cheapest offer!) – no way it is worth that much more money. I dont really need a new mouse rn, but if I would need one, whats a more "fairly" priced alternative to this one?
Flagship mouse path:
Lack of upgrades: people complain, cash grab
Upgrades: unnecessary, cash grab
Bellarium Network $BEL caught my eye todayāvery early stage, very interesting.
They should just push weight as well, it would be interesting if these big brands tried their hands on it. Pulsar is probably the biggest brand who've done it but it has been a while since Razer and Logitech have. Also offering mini versions of their mice would go a long way too. I always buy Razer and Logitech second hand anyway ngl. For 70-90 bucks easily. Unless you're a pro you don't need to spend that much on a mouse.
I have used 4 different mouse in the span of 3 years. From cheap G305 with the beloved egg shape to 100+ ⬠Pulsar X2 with glass skates. Guess what ? I'm using a 45⬠Zaopin Z1 Pro which is very light, it has a great egg shape and the performance has been great too. Just ordered new jade skates for it because i keep coming back to it , it's just that good. High end mouse just don't make that much sense anymore and it shows
Youāre not wrong.
correct me if im wrong but its not like the mouse will use the 8k at all times anyways so why would one need a 'smart switcher' which in other words is bloat. sure i guess the mouse battery will be longer ( not by much however ).
Just want to share smth.
3 years ago I had Viper Mini which I missed dearly. The shape, the weight and much more. Couple of days ago I bought Inno X3 Pro and I'm loving it. The shape is similar to Viper Mini, but has less weight. And this is my first time ever using a wireless mouse.
Thanks for reading.
I know the deathadder used to be the flagship. But I feel like that's the viper nowadays. The Deathadders now seem like they're meant to be the budget option
seriously, you can get basic mice that will do basic office use and whatever for 10 bucks OR LESS. a gaming mouse sound be 20 bucks for an okay one or a spaceship, to 50-60 bucks for a really good one. Any more is just bull. "but they need to make up the research costs"…… Yeah, still? How long have gaming mice been a thing? Screw that. I bought a steelseries sensei ten and within 2 years the scroll wheel encoder went haywire. Cost me 60 bucks, was happy with it till the encoder went mad.
any chance you could test if the new 8k dongle is compatible with the older mice like DAV3 pro or hyper speed?
Price increases are insane.
All these wireless mice should cost no more than 100 dollars, period. You can get a superlight at way less than this and there is NO DIFFERENCE in terms of performance in-game.
As long as they keep these prices, I will never buy them.
So they want you to pay 170 bucks "80 dollars extra", to fix the crappy scroll wheel from the v3? Whack.
I was going to get the V4 pro but decided to go for the V3 Hyperspeed due to the size. After one day, I am super happy with that decision. I already had a hyperpolling dongle from the Viper V2 Pro, which was another plus.
So far, this is the first mouse that has truly challenged the ULX or even the SL-12 for me. I played pretty well last night on CS. I'll have to give it a month to truly say which is my main. So far, its still the FM ULX Comp Classic.
i don't need anymore large ergos for my large hand. but PLEASE show me how to find a comfortable claw grip with Xlite V3 Large for valorant.
I own a Razer deathadder V3 wired mouse. After using it for a while, I started experiencing problems with the mouse wheel. It started working randomly and in reverse. I contacted the Razer company and learned that there would be no warranty because they do not support North Africa and that I purchased the mouse from AliExpress.
I think the company doesn't care about product warranty. While Kingston offers a real warranty on all its products.
I bought a DAV3 (the wired version) for like £30 around 18 months ago and every time I see a DA review I just get reminded how good a purchase that was. Had 8khz before any of the other models, was the first one with the decent coating, is around the same weight as the DAV4, has no issues with battery life and is known to have better build quality than the DAV3 Pro. You can probably pick it up for even cheaper these days, would give it a strong recommendation to anyone tentatively looking to try the shape but concerned about the pricing of other models.
Honestly, respect for giving unbiased opinion despite receiving the product for free.
Even tho its great mouse, its very overpriced and there are just better ergos that are both lighter cheaper and have better or same shape. Mouse should only be priced so highly if its introduces something that was never seen before. The new sensor is hardly an excuse to increase the price.
Im tired of reviewers saying this is the best thing under the sun just because they want to maintain good relations with the brand, this mouse only will make more people start buying chinese mice.
if you cant feel the generational improvements in mice tech then just get a gpx and be happy because these arent made for u good review but ur old
I guess the v3 hyperspeed is enough for me than
still motion sync you cant turn it off in 2025. still no web driver….. the clicks are just bad. synapse is just a bloat software…. send it back zu razer this bullshit…..
lmfao @5:50–6:20
Thanks for pointing out that a gaming peripherals should be a tool to everyone not only the top 1% that can afford it. 180ā¬/$ indeed is much too expensive. We're not talking hall effect or mechanical keyboards ,but gaming mice.. Me personally will happily wait for a sale on amazon to pick this one up at some point in time, even though I could afford it.
I've been using the Logitech Superlight 2 for the past year. Before that, I used the first version of the Superlight for several years. I switched mice for a simple reason ā the mouse wheel on the first model started acting up. It would occasionally scroll backward a click on its own, and even after thorough cleaning, I couldn't fix it. Now, after a year, I'm starting to notice the same issue with my current mouse. I'm seriously considering buying this mouse, because of the optical sensor on the wheel.
People will buy it and the next mouse will be more expensive. People will buy that too.
If my salary would have decimal point 2 digits towards right hand side than probably yes for now i am limied to 50 euro and happy with dav3.
Please could you tell me what the orange mousepad featured is ?
I have 20 bucks what do u recommend?
i use deathadder v3 pro for half a year and i agree with everything you said ! Great video, love from Russia
I love my deathadder v3 pro, but 170$ for a mouse, which will be even more when imported to my country, absolutely insane, no thanks unfortunately…
In 2025, I bought scyrox v8, After that, I realized that 170$ is wild for a mouse.
Your assessment is correct, and one can criticize the price and the practically imperceptible progress. However, I ordered the mouse immediately because I simply want to own a mouse that represents the pinnacle of what's technically possible, and Razer has never disappointed me in this regardāat least not with mice.
I own a DAV3 and it was my main through the Superlight 2, ROG Harpe Ace Extreme, and Logitech Dex… The Viper V3 Pro beat it out… the DAV4 doesn't offer enough to switch.
Is there even one single pro player that uses more than 1k dpi? I dont think so and even if there is one, 99% uses like around 600-900 dpi. All this numbers are nonsense. 180⬠is ridiculous. The only thing nowadays that really matters is the shape, weight and build quality. Get ur qc right because most of the time the clicks and pre/post travel feel different from mice to mice of the same product. I am generally speaking not a razer specific problem.
I'm buying it regardless of the price. If it's the best mouse on the planet, I want it. Money doesn't matter.
i have just jumped over from a G pro wireless to a Scyrox V6 after initially wanting to take the next "logical" step up with the g pro superlight 2, thats when i decided to do heavy research into mice and im glad i did. Logitech and Razer are simply relying on peoples lack of knowledge or awareness to generate their sales nowadays, their products are simply not worth it
So what i get from this.. go buy that mouse if money doesnt matter to you for your main hobby
got cha
Fun aside: Gaming is one of my biggest hobbies and i rarely upgrade my peripherals. But if I do – it doesn't matter to me whether a mouse is 90 oder 170$. I just wanna rest asured that I got a quality product that will last.
Itās so hard to decide what ergo mouse I should get
